i was thinking of leaving my house at 5:45 am and the store is about 10-15 minutes away. If anybody any experience please correct me about my timing

Argh, so close yet so far. I went to TRU around 1 since that's when DHL usually delivers to them. I saw a lady walking into TRU with a bag in hand and inside the bag I saw a Wii box. I quickly parked by car and bolted into the store. She was about to return it and I offered to buy it from her but I guess she decided to keep it and possibly sell it for a better profit. Anyways, I walked into the 'R-Zone' area and I saw a line of people waiting for Wii's. Waited about an hour and no deliveries from DHL Just called them to ask if they got anything from DHL and they got nothing. Oh well, tomorrow's another day.

Hey guys,

Just a heads up to anyone looking for Wii Remotes (Wiimotes).

I strolled into EBGames today at around 1:30pm since it was in the mall I was shopping at. I asked if they had any extra controllers for the Wii, I figured the guy would laugh in my face since I knew they were hard to come by. To my surprise, he said yeah and that they just got 9 of them in today. I am now the proud owner of a Wii and 4 Wiimotes. So now my next and final goal is to get 3 Nunchucks and the search is over.

It should be noted though that I wasn't the only one going in there asking, while I was waiting for them to bring out the controllers from stock about 2 or 3 other people came in asking the same question.

Thought this would be good info for anyone looking to buy Wiimotes.

I found 2 nunchuks at Gamestop and Nintendo just shipped me the third one today. We were lucky to get in on the Wii TRU bundle online last week. It came with games that we wanted, and the stand/organizer is pretty cool. I'm going out to Target on the 21st to see the carnage and possibly find one for a few people I know who want them.

Hey I called target to see if they were holding stock for Sunday and this is what they told me, and I quote "We never hold stock. When a shipment comes in we restock them. But if we get in a large shipment and there is a line we revert to the ticket method". Which means there not holding all there stock there probably just going to be getting a big shipment on Sunday. I hopes this helps.

I honestly doubt this, unless every Target knows with 100% certainty that they will get Wiis. The Wii IS in the Target 21st ad, and it would be against the law for them to not have them available then.

instead of going to target at like 6, do you think i could just go to best buy at like 8?? I'm thinking best buy will have a lot more wii's, and they open later, so it seems like a smarter idea to go there. but when?

My TRU has 4 wiimotes available I live in a small area.

I can't drive(14 yrs) so tommrw I might get em.

ya if i were you, check target first, and when you figure out either yes/no make your decision from there. BB will have more but i think less people will wait at target then bb

My guess is Babies R Us. And "No", they don't sell Wii.

I called Toys R Us in Minnetonka, and they said they had 6 Wiimotes. It took me about 20 minutes to drive there, so at approximately 2 pm, they only had 4 after I bought 2 of them. Sorry this is a late post, it's the first time I could get to a computer. Now all I need is one more nunchuk to complete my set of 4 each. Right now is there really a need to have 4 nunchuks? There probably will be when future games come out supportin 4 players.
