I dunno how true this is, but the manager at the Gamestop I go to (Maryland) told me he got an email from Nintendo saying that everything will be avaliable nationwide on January 25th.

Those who don't have a Wii... be patient. You'll probably get one on the 25th!

Here is what I came up with for you:

Circuit City Lawrenceville (3350 Brunswick Pike) In-Stock!

That was 3 hours ago...just so you are aware they might be holding that stock until the 21st. If possible you should try K-Mart. I don't think many people go there for Wiis.

THe best thing to do is try random stores that not many people would think to go. Everybody goes to EB games, try other stores, I got mine at Wal-Mart, The first one of nine.

I need you guys to help me out here, well, the only place that I can buy the Nintendo Wii is two hours and half away from where I live, so do you guys think that I'll be able to find a nintendo wii this sunday(21st) ? Should I take the risk??

I plan on going to bestbuy sunday morning to get one. If when I play it and I don't like it then I'll return it back to bestbuy or if someone in nyc wants it can buy it from me before I return it.

I saw 5 wiis sitting at a local walmart. They have been there all week. I was gonna buy them to resell, but theres no demand on ebay anymore. At least not enough to justify my time.

Called K-Mart last night after surfing this forum. The K-Mart here is like a ghost town usually. Anyways, they had 3 in stock, they had already sold 4 that night. I rushed down there and got one, a game, and extra contoller. I thought about getting an extra to sell, but after all this looking, I figured I would buy some Wii karma instead and leave it there for someone else.
Anyhoo, I have seen K-Mart's ad for this Sunday and it features the Wii, I think they are just putting out their stock as they get it unlike BB/Target. So call if you have one! Good luck!

Ok, so a quick question:
When you have a voucher in hand, do you have to redeem it right when the store opens? Could I potentially receive a Target voucher (opens at 8AM), then run and wait in line for a CC voucher (opens at 10AM). I don't want to screw up my chances at a Wii, but I have tons of CC gift cards, but my CC has let me down in the past...and I don't want to solely rely on them.

I've been watching New Jersey Targets on my itrackr all week (I'm in Philly). Most have been in stock all week and others are just coming into stock now. Essentially, this means that they are all holding them for the sale on the 21st. It looks like all NJ Targets will be participating. You're in good shape for tomorrow if you can get there early enough!!

It concerns me that none of the stores in your area have this item in stock on itrackr. Considering the effort it would take to get to these stores, I would HIGHLY suggest calling each store, explaining your situation, and verify that they will be participating in the 21st sale. Or if you, or anyone you know, could pick up a circular for the stores in today's paper, verify that it's listed in there for tomorrow. If you see it listed, go.

The good news is that there is no one in your area tracking the wii, so demand doesn't look like it's very high.

I was told Target would start handing out vouchers at 7AM, then they open at 8. If I get the voucher, I see no reason to leave the area unless it's to grab a quick breakfast.

Hi... have been lurking but haven't posted til today ... have been looking since Xmas. Got an itrackr alert for Circuit City this morning. Went about 9:30 and parked outside and waited for them to open at 10. There were only a few people waiting, and the store is in a very populous area. Walked in right at 10, asked a guy working there, and he said they don't have it, but it's in their ad for tomorrow. Then when I got home I noticed I got an itrackr alert email right at 10AM that said my CC no longer had it. LOL.

So I guess it's true that CC is holding stock for the big Wii sale Sunday along with Target and Best Buy.

I did find one Wiimote this morning at Wal-Mart. Planning to check the line at Target early tomorrow.
