It really depends on your area, I'd say a lot of kmarts sell thm when they get em and others are holding them off. I know mine is holding theirs off becaus a girl was about to sell me one from the back but the managers said no and to wait for sunday. He did say something about UPS delivering them Saturday night so I'm going to make a last ditch effort at kmart tonight so I don't have to wait out in the freezing cold tomorrow morning.

I really don't think it'll be beneficial for kmart to also hold off for the 21st because everyone would be at Target, Best Buy and Circuit City. They would have been able to sell more units if they put them out right when they get them.

Got my wii... manipulated the store manager at Walmart to sell it to me. They made the mistake of saying that they had one but where holding it until the 28th. Then the store manager told me if they have something its for sale.. Got it... although they were a bit reluctant...

i most likely going tommarow but i'm not sure if i should go to a close by target, or one about 15 minutes away, which is in the middle of nowhere

The only way you're going to find out is by going out to your local stores and asking when their last shipment was and when they normally get shipments, and what time they normally drop off. It's not like we bug every nintendo Wii and watch a map of dots as they travel across North America.

none of the stores in my area have put out flyers(walmart,Bestbuy, Kmart), soo no sales the 21st or are they going to do them thinking people will show up anyway? I'd love any help

Yeah I backdoored it. It said they have available.

But when I called the target 3 days in a row. The employees say there not sure that they may get some but they have heard of the 21st shipment.

I went into bestbuy this morning and me and stupid self thought today was the 21st so I went over to video games to see if any wii's were there and none so I asked someone that worked in that dept and she said they will have them tomorrow at 11 AM when the store opens. The dirty b***** are keeping the Wii's in the back and saving them for a sale day. Anyway, I'll be at bestbuy tomorrow at 10AM.

i just got my wii from Kmart (thanks for the tip here) in Anaheim, CA. they still have 2 or 3 when I left the store a few minutes ago

interesting tidbit of info for those still looking for nunchucks and wiimotes...i ordered both (separately) from store.nintendo.com, and both items shipped the next day even though they say the wiimote is backordered. not sure if i just got lucky with it...hope this helps someone!

I'm planning to go around 6:30 to check to see if there's any line. I'm in the Chicago burbs and it will be snowing here, so I kind of doubt it. This should not be anything like the initial launch. I figure anyone desperate enough to camp out, has either already camped out for it at launch time, or has lucked into one since then, or has bought from one from an eBay reseller scum. Could be wrong though...
