The manager of the electronics department at Wal-Mart just called me and told that they are putting the Wiis on sale at 6am tomorrow (Sunday 28th) - so I'm off to bed and up early tomorrow... 
My Wal-Mart is a 24hr store so I was planning to head over there tonight. Fingers crossed I'll be able to get mine in the morning. Like I am going to be able to sleep!

I am only casually interested in getting a Wii...any estimates about how long it will be until the Wii is readily available in the U.S.? I'm not really willing to wait in lines for stores to open, pay more than retail, etc.

Right now. At least if you just use the Target refresh page or call WalMart, Wiis have been on shelves for a week now around here. (Colorado) - Target seems to be getting shipments 2-3 times a week too...Just check the refresh/backdoor page, then head to the green stores.
I think they'll be nationally in stock on shelves before Valentines day.  |

walmart worked. got a wii. 24 hour store closest to me was understaffed and couldn't sell at midnight. next closest had about 25 units. all went smooth. |

I have connections...
Got my Wii this morning at Wal-Mart at 6:12am.... they had 22 units I was 2nd in line at 4:45. It was reassuring to have another crazy person to wait with.

According to my mother, the Walmart circular claimed to have five on sale today per store. They might be gone by now, but it's worrth a shot. $250 plus tax. It's not a bundle, either - just the console, Wiimote and Nunchuck, and Wii Sports.

My first post! I finally found a Wii today! I thought I'd give it one more shot, so I checked out the forum this morning and found out that Wal-Mart was supposed to have some available today. I checked their sales paper, and, sure enough, it said they did. I called them and thankfully, they still had some. I was there at 1:00 today and they still had ten left! The guy said their shipment included 17, so they had already sold 6 before I got there. Anyway, since I found out about the shipments here, I thought I could return the favor and let anyone living in the Birmingham/Jasper, Alabama area know that the Wal-Mart in Sumiton still had several Wiis left, as of 1:00! Now I'm off to go play! |

got my wii today. the walmart out in forney tx had a good bit of them. I was suprised because I was not able to get out there early. At about 11am or so there were 6 left after mine. My wife now sees why I wanted one so bad...

a buddy and I found wii's this morning at wal-mart. the first wall mart we went to at 5AM sold out minutes before we got there. the second one had 4 left and we bought 2 of them. sadly no wii remotes were to be found though.

I finally found my wii!!  I went to walmart and asked them if they had any wiis, and they said no, but then I asked if they knew another walmart that has wii's in stock, so she asked to another lady if she knew about another walmart and she said "why? we have wii's here" and I was like "OMFG, I must see it first before getting happy" so she went backdoors and brought a new nintendo wii ! finally! thank u guys!! u really helped me!! |
