does walmart sell there new shipment every sunday morning or was it just a one time deal?

I played for the first time the other night at a dinner party and fell in love. It's a cruel, cruel world. You cannot find a Wii in Chicago right now to save your life. I called 10 EB's, several Crazy Games, a few Targets and stopped in the local BB. I knew I wasn't going to find any, but I had to try. The lady at Target actually kind of laughed at me when I asked. After checking out this very informative forum I signed up for itrackr. I assume you only have to pay the $1.99 if you want the information emailed to you?

I am determined to get one by this weekend. I guess I am going to have to hit the phones hard and count on being in the right place at the right time. I wish the best of luck to all of you in my position.

The 28th was a one-time deal. That doesn't mean they won't have another sale sometime in the future though. Look for Walmart to get them in randomly.

i read up and i want a brand new wii, from somewhere like choice.co.uk, game.co.uk, hmv or argos but the stocks out on all of them and choice.co.uk they have them in stock but i have to wait 21 weeks from their direct supplier which isnt bad but its just so long!!

i need help badly my friend say i go to currys and get one but i checked online they dont have any at all.

name some uk websites which sell them (even if they dont even have any in stock i need to know so i tally how many are out of stock and then go through them all so i can get one and ill help you get one ill tell you that website and bobs your uncle fannys your we're all happy lol)

but i mean i wouldnt pay a little £'s for a new one right this second you know what i mean i cant be assed waiting 21 weeks id could order that and some would come out in game right now and id be miffed off

Read the post in my signature. It has a lot of good tips. Among those it talks about how stores get deliveries at random. You can only bank on them having Wii in stock on a given Sunday if there is some corroborated rumor that states that the weekend flier will have the advertised....

Shadeballs: I used Itrackr some weeks back to get a Wii within two days so it does work. I did not buy the email tracking, I just checked every morning. Being in Chicago, you need to do what I did here in Dallas and that is make sure you use all the zipcodes in your area. Some of the stores will overlap so I would suggest getting a list of zipcodes together to use and when you check, change the zip to check each one. Also, call first as the store does not always match Itrackr. I know what you mean about the employees laughing at you so its nice to have information from Itrackr to help out. Good luck.

it took about a week. I looked everywhere, called everyday. but someone tipped me off to game crazy attached inside a hollywood video (in south jersey)
I took a chance and went after work, after walking in and asking if they sell game systems, he told me yes, and i asked when he thinks they may get more wii's. he made a face and told me he has one in the back... i think i peed a little. I told him i want it and ran out to get my purse. on my way back in two guys followed me and asked for a wii as well. i got the last one
this was at 5:15 at night, and he said he had gotten then in about 40 minutes prior. So keep your heads up kids. There is one out there for everyone!

Yeah, this thread really has died down. I guess it shouldn't be a surprise though. I'm sure a lot of people have gotten a wii recently so there is a lot less competition. And there aren't any current rumors of stores holding them for specific dates anymore and its becoming easier to pre-order the wii bundles online. I'm still looking though. I'm not really interested in most of the bundles that the online stores are selling and iTrackr doesn't work for my area so I'm just refreshing the target backdoor site at http://crayz.org/target_wii.php and stopping in at best buy and walmart whenever I get a chance. Hopefully soon...

I just got off the phone with Circuit City outside of Chicago. While the guy on the phone said the Wii doesn't appear in next weeks flyer, he told me he saw a lot of them at their distribution warehouse. He told me to check back tomorrow in the afternoon as that is when they receive their shipments.

thanks very much ill ask me mum in the morning to ring them and hopefully they may have one but really why should they not tell you on the phone and not online or in store?

I have been checking the gamestop backdoor site but it shows that no wiis are in stock and there are none on the way. Has this happend to anyone else?
