actually..now that I remember this, Zellers did get a UPS shipment in on wednesday afternoon during the first week of january. so maybe,just maybe, i might be able to get one wednesday.

well, i would like to thank everyone in this section of the wii chat forum for helping me on my quest to search for and ultimately get a wii. i got one at k-mart today right by my house.
good luck to all the people who are still looking or waiting for a wii. remember, never give in to those idiots on ebay or amazon who sell it for a jacked up price. you will eventually get one. just wait, and good things will happen

well, no offence, but im used to the price here in the U.S, which is $250, i dont know how much it costs in the UK, but im assuming that u paid more than the retail over there?

just got my Wii at gamestop, for the people that are still on the search for one monday is when gamestop gets most of their Wii shipment.

nope, gamestop is american.
there is an EB games in Canada though.
oh and by the way, would anybody know when the next shipment to Canada is? I got a zellers nearby as well as the source, and i do not want to walk up there in this cold just t come back emptyhanded.

hey i just grabbed a wii from my local blockbuster video.
funny thing is, people don't think about blockbuster when they think about buying a game console so they tend not to sell as quickly. i live in toronto, but blockbuster is in both in canada and the US, so there are a million to choose from.
forget trying at best buy or futureshop or walmart. everyone is checking there.

that is actually a good idea, there is a blockbuster in lindsay, so maybe tomorrow when I try iceman games, zellers and the source again, i'll check blockbuster too

I have been watching the target in stock page and noticed all the targets in my area were showing in stock. Drove up to the nearest store and got one and there was still about 5 left.

It's going to be a big day for Wii at Target in Dallas this Sunday (apparently Circuit City too). iTrackr is lighting up the boards. I went to my local Target and they had 24 in the warehouse but were not releasing them until Sunday. I just got mine in at a North Dallas Target by using the Target backdoor site. When I got there they were flying off the shelf. Mostly moms buying them.

I wish Target would be consistent. I've just called three stores and they all said they were holding them until Sunday. I think somebody in the North Dallas store may be in trouble for putting them out.

my price in english pounds is more in dollars over in america
but americas price for the wii is half of what you would pay in england like a knockoff price.
so really your price is best and secondly at least your getting stock, GAME the usual shop i go to they do not have any in stock but just a couple of days ago they get about 10+ in stock which is good for me because this is a first!
