Still on the Search for Wii?

I don't know if anybody has noticed this or not, but most of the shipments seem to be consistant to saturdays and sundays, not only that, I asked the good people at my local gaming store when was the last time they had a wii in, and it was saturday.

That is the pattern i've noticed for Canadian retailers, so canadians looking for a wii, check your local retailers on saturdays and sundays for your wii, if it helps, let us know, if not, still let us know.

I think the North Dallas Coit one did screw up. They are now the only one showing no availablity in the area. I guess I just really lucked out. Good luck this weekend.

Well I was talking to a guy at Meijers and he told me they gets Wiis in every day except Sundays and Mondays they get them between 12 and 2 PM so i know i could get one but idk if i still do want one>?

Yea all target in my area has Wii. Back door tracker have them all green, including the iTracker. Then I went to 2 of them and they all say we dont have in stock??? kind of weird can some one explain this? When would they release it? and what about Bestbuy.

Ok here is what happened. I got itrack sms notice and the other tracker say it is avaliable. but when i get there there is none. so they must of holding the wii at the back and wait till some date to sell it all at once.

I finally got mine yesterday. I live in the burbs of Chicago. I got mine at EBGames in Rolling Meadows. They had quite a few in stock yesterday and no one was picking them up due to the weather.

A few of the other Ebgames I called said they are expecting shipments this week.

to hell with the wii! where the heck are the controllers? i've been hitting two stores every day trying to get an extra one before my boyfriend kills the original in boxing. i keep telling him "simple movements, dude" but nooooo.

all that aside, i certainly hope that this sunday's release will reach all those still searching.

Just got mine, my hunt started this past sunday, i made calls to over 20 stores, no luck with none in sight, the next morning i had to go to the post office before lunch and thought i'd give Gamestop a try since it was right next door, sure enuff they had 'em, the Great Wii Hunt lasted 18 hours
