I just got a notification from NotifyWire.com stating Wii's were in stock on CompUSA.com but it only lasted four and a half minutes before they sold out..

NotifyWire seems like a great idea, but my cell provider, US Cellular, is not on the list to choose from, is there another one I can choose or something?
I am about to just buy one on ebay, but I am afraid I will buy one that says its new, but it is not. How can you tell if the Wii really is new? The seller has good feedback, everyone says the Wii's they got from him was perfect, but still is there a way to tell if it is brand new (is there a wrapping or a way they package them for you to be able to tell)?

Well it may work with some phone and it may not, but you can also register your email address and your phone's email address. I have my phones email address added, and I'm going to assume its because it wouldn't accept my phone carrier (T-mobile), I just can't remember, i set this up back in December.

if you guys really want like i said I have one that I have for sale for 270 total, shipping and ALL! quit wasting your time with ebay, and trying to hunt one down, the wii it self costed 262.38, and I use the rest for shipping, I just help you guys out PM ME!!! SAVE SOME TIME!

Just got back from Costco, Raleigh NC....they had at least 20 Wii bundles when I left. They got there shipment in this morning 24 bundles. They opened at 10 am est. For all of you guys still on the hunt it might be worth a trip or a call to your local Costco. I know all the NC Stores were getting the same amount of bundles. The bundles are 339.99 with the system, Zelda, and Excite truck. Oh and if you are not a Costco member I think the membership is $50. Their price on Wii games is typically $5 cheaper than targets/bestbuys/walmarts/etc.

I don't think so, called at 10:05 A.M., and the person told me, nope.
Although I did read the disclaimer, why would Itrackr claim the Wii was in stock, in the Great Mall, in Milpitas, as of 1 A.M., San Francisco Time???

I've noticed around here that store employees are not always truthful over the phone regarding the "in-stock" status of the Wii. They are getting so many calls and so many walk-ins, I think they honestly just get tired of checking the "latest status" of the Wii only to see that yes, it was out of stock 5 minutes ago, and yes it is still out of stock, and yes it will be out of stock 5 minutes from now.

dude, read unggoy's post just a few posts up from this. He lives in Orlando and has one for sale for $262, you could save on shipping. I paid $269 after tax at Target, so he's saving you a few bucks too.

Does anyone know what ads the wii will be in this weekend? Not sure who was holding stock this week to sell on Sunday. In ohio btw.
Think it is absolutely ridiculous that in mid February enough systems can't be shipped out to have a decent stock in stores yet.
