I'm camping out in front of nintendo world wednesday night. They restock daily. I went there today and asked about the details of it.

just called my local walmart..."we got 3, first come first served" when do u start selling them? "i can just tell u that we open at 7"..freakin mystery..they cant be for real, 3?!

Well I did call back tonight and the guy said they have only 10 systems and will start handing out tickets at 8am so before 7 might be the smart move. I'm still going to call the other walmart (the one in the bigger city of the two) and see what they are doing and how many they have. I rather go to the smaller city because I figure I'll have a better chance there but I'm still going to see what I can find out.

EDIT: Called and they didn't have any idea about the Wii

EDIT EDIT: Btw, I gotta ask. Is this ticket system of Wal-mart's just going to be like numbered 1-10 and the first 10 people to get there are the lucky ones? Or is it like a random lottery thing where every person before 8am gets a ticket and are randomly drawed like in a raffle? I should have asked but I didn't think about it until now.

CANADA WII UNITS TOMMOROW!!!!!!

yup hopefully costco online is getting them..all costco canada get a minimum of 10 units...my local closet one gets 13..one near canadas wonderland gets 26!

best buy canada - minimum of 20 units per canadian and american stores...check local stores

walmart canada - getting minimum of 10-20 units per store depending on location and size of cities etc!

eb games- 10 at every store

zellers- some got 5 some got 0 some got 10!

sams club...on dec.10-11 each store in Canada gets 5-10units!

I just got home from my local Walmart & theres 2 people in line already the store wont say how many they have

but at least they'll get theirs

I may swing by in the morning but doubt I'll get 1 as its 1st come first serve .
I really dont want to freeze my butt off again

for a Video Console I did it last December for a 360 which I must say is Excellent

Does anyone know if circuit city will be having them again today (the 6th) I think i remember reading that somewhere, or is it just Walmart thats having something? Please let me know, they are pretty far apart. I am not too worried because i picked one up on the 3rd but my brother would like one also

Man, I can't sleep, I keep waking up every 30 minutes to set my clock alarm time back a few more minutes back thinking I need to wake up earlier for a better chance in getting a Wii in a couple of hours.

I guess I'll share some info while I'm on here:

Earlier yesterday I went to 3 Walmarts around me, specifically the SuperWally on N. Eldridge and FM1960, SuperWally on FM529 (that is half a mile west of Hwy. 6) and the SuperWally on Hwy 290 at the Cypress Rosehill exit (NW Houston, TX).

All 3 have told me (I was there talking to an actual salesman, not on the phone) it will be on a first come, first serve basis. I asked them if a line were to form where would it be and they all told me at the lay-away counter in the back where the restrooms are.

Each one had a xerox copy sign taped up on the glass games cabinet shelves stating 8am 12/6, which is today, as the start of sale. The one on FM529 had "LIMIT 1 PER CUSTOMER" written in black marker ink on it.

I forgot to ask how many each had, I keep remembering as I've already left the parking lot, and I re-forget as I get to the next Walmart. Heh, oh well, guess I'll head to the closest one in a few hours and ask when I get in line.

I haven't called back the Circuit City sales manager on Hwy.6 between Westheimer and Richmond yet to see if they received a shipment for a possible sale of the Wii. If I manage to get a Wii at Wallyworld, I won't really care about it then.

Oh yea, I also went to the Target's right next to or nearby the Walmarts and noticed Target semi trucks just pulling in or docked in the back/side of the store. Not sure if a stock of Wii's could be in them. I went inside and asked and I got the same response from the electronics sales associate that I received from the local Target store operator "We don't know when we'll get a new shipment of Wii's, I'm sorry".

Hmmm, it's 2am where I'm at right now, I wonder if I should start heading out... man, still got this work project to finish, don't wanna be burnt out by midday, even if Im doing it at home, hehe.

I have been busy all week, and I had no idea that Wal-Mart would be selling them today. Time to start looking all of them up that are in my area; still, anyone have information concerning any in the Orlando area?

Just got back from my local wal-mart and they only had 8 wii's luckly I was 4th in line I waited from about 6:30pm unitl 12:10 when they handed tickets out to the first 8 pepole. Well I don't actually have the wii yet I have to be back ta wal-mart at 8 AM sharp. They said If your 10 min. late then your assed out and they will sell it to the first person that asks for one.

I'm headed out now to Walmart. They're not handing out tickets until they start selling them (8am) and they only have 10 systems in. With it being a small city, I'm hoping there won't be a line or much of one already. I'll report back with my hopefully good results.

Here's the skinny on the Nintendo World Store in Rockefeller Center, NYC:

They get at least 100 units per day. This week they had a monster shipment of controllers and nunchuks too. If you're on line by 6:30AM, you have a very solid chance of getting one. Once you're on line, around 7:45AM the guy comes out and gives you a ticket -- obviously if you don't get one, you're out of luck.

No, I haven't been able to get one. I work around the block but I don't think many things in life are worth waking up that early and standing around in 30 degree cold for.
