Right now WiiHunt is starting to show a lot of availability... and it does not appear to be for another Sunday launch because they are going from green then back to red... Check it out and good luck! :-)

The Targets in the Cincinnati area have Remotes and nunchucks availible. I went at lunch yesterday to Target Central Cincinnati and they had 5 nunchucks and about 7 remotes in stock, well make that 4 nunchucks since I bought one.

i called a lot of places that were "green" to check and see if it was accurate. Most told me they never recieved any shipments at all and had none available.

I thought the retail stores always get shipments on Sunday. Please tell me this is true because my friend is looking to get one tomorrow and we're gonna probably camp-it-up at one or two of the Targets to get one.

Sunday, March 4th
I awaken at 9am, spazzing out that my alarm didn't go off. I throw on my clothes, take my keys and money and speed to target.
I trip on my way up the escalator (which looked funnily stupid), but got back up and power-walked to the game section.
I glance at the Wii game section and see Wii systems under it. I hurry to the counter, ask, "Can I please have a Wii so my journey can be over?" The lady looks at me strangely then says, "...Sure... come over here, we've got them ready over here.
I hand the $270 and say, "My pilgrimage for the ultimate game system has taken 6 months. Thank you for ending it." She looks at me weirdly again, "Well, I guess today is you're lucky day then... have a nice day...sir"
I get into my car, turn it on, open my windows, and blast the Final Fantasy Victory Theme and start dancing, getting strange looks from numerous people.
Yeah I'm weird get over it, but it was such a momentous day.
(Journey Time spent: 5 Months and 2 Weeks, or 240 hours)

lol I had to wait till the 2nd week after it was released to get my Wii. I waited 3 hours, from 6:30am to 9:30am in bare butt cold weather. Snowing, 20 MPH winds, and -10*F temps. Oh well I had so much fun when I got home. I was the first to come out of the store with one. I held it up and shouted "Its mine!" then I ran so to not get killed by the rowdy crowd.

its because theres people out there who go around to retail stores buying as many wiis as they can, so they can then resell them on ebay for more than nintendos recommended retail price.

Yeah, I am wrong and I realize that. i think it probably is that wiis are just selling more, but the only way we can know is if we see the actually sales charts.....i need to get my hands on those. haha. well i just bought a DS today. i guess i just can't wait for nintendo fun, i've never owned anything nintendo before until now. i'll get a wii when i can basically walk into the store, pick it up, walk to the cash register, and buy it. end of story for now. haha.
