In Perth, Western Australia shops such as Toysrus in morley have Wiii's in stock. Not sure about accesssories but.

I live in canada - we have no target, the closest toys'r'us is two and a half hours across the border (and I still have to get a dang passport due to the new regulations, so no border crossing for now).

As far as I can tell, the only local stores that might conceivably sell Wii's are costco, futureshop, circuit city, and ebgames. From constant checking, the only one store that receives them semi regularly is the ebgames. Yet I check each and every one once I get off of work.

It's actually rather sad now. The EBGames reps - every single one of them - know my name, and when I walk in they usually say things like "sorry, no shipments today", or "The last one just sold eight minutes ago" without me even asking about it. Heck, I had a laugh one day when one employee comes up to me one day and says, in a rather wide-eyed, amazed manor, "We got six in today.... and they all sold in under ten seconds!". Heh, they even confided in me that people were offering over $100 in cash bribes just to have them hold one for them (which they rejected, of course). This was just last week - the insanity is still going strong here.

I agree with a bunch of previous posters - it does get depressing, and probably more than frustrating for the employees that have to deal with the constant barrage of questions. I was originally planning on a Wii for a christmas present (got stiffed on pre-orders, money refunded.), than a birthday present (... none in stock).

I'm willing to pay a bit over the msrp, but bundles are out of the question. If I wanted to pay that much I may as well buy a ps3 - heck, they're easier to find! (to quite a EB Rep, "No wii's today; want a PS3?".) Heck, I can't even get off work for a day unless I'm absolutley positive that there will be a wii available - gotta fund my gaming habits somehow. I must say, though, working monday to friday, from 11am to 7pm rather sucks for wiifinding.

So, any west coast canadians able to offer advice?

My wife and I decided to purchase a Wii this weekend. Like most people we went to the local big box store and found them out. So we went to another store and found none there as well. Hrmmm this is odd.

So my wife went to the local big box this morning to await their shipment. There were 10 people outside and all of them are waiting on the Wii. WTF! I can see that we will have to wait a while longer.

Still mii and no wii in Albany NY.

Good link, con77, but it is still an american link, got my hopes up when I saw a wii bundle (yes, I am getting that desperate) for sale at toys-r-us, and it took me until the checkout page to finally see that it was for the american .com, not the canadian toysrus.ca. And they don't ship out of the country. yay.

So far, the only canadian Wii Tracker i've seen is at http://www.xpbargains.com/tracker.php/wii_canada, but once you scan the 'last in stock' dates, you quickly begin to lose hope.

and also they have them at my local argos's,they have stock at least at 8 stores nearest to me but not available for home delivery but you can reserve them at the stores for pickup.

i got my wii about 2 months ago but i thought i would never get it, but i recomend calling stores every single week and seeing if they have any in stock or if there getting any shipments.

I was talking to a rep from ebgames earlier today, and they say they expect a shipment on the 23rd, due to a 'nintendo promotion'.

When asked what the promotion was he stated that he didn't know - nintendo was keeping it secret.
