Probably a bit late for folks, but if you're just waking up and you don't get the paper, the Wii is listed in this week's Circuit City circular.

I just got my voucher. The guy came out at 7:30 and gave them to us waiting. He said they had 24 units and there were only four of us. This is the Temecula, CA CC. I have my Wii in 2 hours when they open. good luck!

My husband got up at 7 and drove the hour to our nearest Circuit City (Syracuse, NY). They gave out 20 vouchers. He said there were about 15 people in line who didn't get one (but my husband got one). An hour later, when the store opened, they "discovered" that they only got 10 Wiis in, so we didn't make the cut. They said that they expect more this week and will call when they come in. They will only hold them for voucher holders for one day. That bugs me since we have an hour drive to get there. To be honest, I work in Syracuse, but still, if they call after I've left work, then we have a problem. Sheesh. Just had to vent!!

Went to CC yesterday when they showed stock (which later disappeared online) the kid said they had 12, tickets would be handed out a hour before they opened on Sunday.

My 7 year old woke me up at 6:45 this morning wanting to know if it was time to go. We got there at 7:30 and were 3rd in line. They handed out tickets at 8:30. We returned at 10:30 and were the last people to pick up a ticketed Wii.

I had only been looking for about 2 weeks and couldn't make it to ToyRUs before opening last week. Luckily this opening worked into our schedule.

YAY!!!!! I finally got a Wii!!!

If you live in Canada, I suggest checking out your local Zellers. They had a pre-sale this weekend... The only crappy thing is, I have to wait until April 28th until the shipment arrives...

tnine, awesome you finally got one, sucks you have to wait for a preorder, but at least you're not going to get ripped off on ebay or any other site selling them

on another note, i got my Wii yesterday at Circuit City, I went at midnight to make sure nobody was camping out, then I went home and got some rest (about 3 hours) before I woke back up and drove down there, I was there at 4AM and was the first one there. Next person didn't show up until 6AM, so I felt a little dumb, but hey...I finally got one.

I was actually happy to know that CC said on Saturday to anyone who called up that they had 12 in stock and if you wanted one, you should be there no later than 8AM. Sure enough, everyone who didn't get one showed up shortly after 8. Which amounted to about 20 dissapointed people. Guess the early bird gets the worm.

Well at least stores in my area will no longer be getting a call from me to find out if/when they have any Wii's in. Now they get to hear my call up and say, do you have this game in stock...HA HA HA HA HA!!!

I went to our local CC this Sunday too! I was there at 7:30 and fourth in line. The door sign said they had nine in stock. By 8:30 there were nine of us and the manager came out and gave the vouchers. At 10:00 I had my Wii!

I found a Wii Play, but still searching for a nunchuck.

Yeah, we actually had to wait until about 9:30 until "wii" got our vouchers. Wasn't too bad, about 30 min later, the store opened and we got our Wii's.

I've seen a post or two about a CC that said that when they called the store said they'd get X in stock and when they got there only Y really were there. Luckily, the door read 12 and if you peaked through the front window, sure enough on the front counter was 12 white boxes that read "Wiiiiiiiii"

Bro lets get this straight, I'm not forcing anyone to buy from me, as soon as I get my Wii's I put an ad up and at least 5 serious buyers call me w/ in 2 hours.

And at 19 what kind of descent jobs are actually out there for me?

I refuse to work some stressful low wage job to be barked at by some managers making $15 an hour.

Each sunday release since mid-January I usually pick up 12-20 depending on how many friends I can hire, and how many friends in retail I can get to hold me some. I always sell out by Tuesay or Wed. and I have at least an extra $500 in my pocket each week.

So if you think Im going to pass up on $500-$1,200 after expenses for only around 20-30 hours of actual "work", because of what you think, get the hell out of here!
