man, this is retarded. i woulda loved to wait in the cold, last night til midnight to get a ticket. but i guess how they do it varies from walmart to walmart...mine didnt even have a clue..

Sucks....went to walmart this morning. (My STUPID FLSWLKJDLGFK Alarm didn't go off at 4:30...soooo I was number 20 in line and they have 5.) WTF Im never going to get one at this rate, I keep barely missing them. I live in Lafayette Louisiana, anyone know anywhere else to get one?

I don't know about fridays. The targets in my area haven't sold any on friday since black friday.

The thing about targets (and I think this goes for all of them) is they re-stock overnight, so when you get there in the morning everything they've got on the shelves is all they got. Target has been very dependable in that they've consistently had Wii's, like it's already been said, every Sunday (around 30). If I were you i'd go for it.

Thank God I already have a Wii.

Man...my patience is wearing thinner than a balding middle aged man's hair. I've been everywhere looking for the Wii. Lady Luck has been giving me the ole FU lately. Then the rainchecks at Walmart...those idiots, it said in their catalog no rainchecks, sheesh. I hope Target, Best Buy, or Shopko come through for me.

Funny thing happened to me. I was in line from 3:00 am outside target this past Sunday. Until 5:00 am there were around 25 people in line (target only had 6 units and I was the first one). At around 7:00 am the manager comes out and gives us the tickets. So the first 6 people who got the tickets decided to go to starbucks, get some warm coffee and come back at 8:00 am when target would open. When we came back at 7:55 am we noticed that another line was formed from people that started ariving after 7:10am. Of course those people did not know that the tickets had been distributed already.

So I approach the line and tell the people that the manager already gave us the tickets and that they only had 6 available and only the people with tickets would be able to buy them. Can you guess what the people in line did? ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!!! They ignored me. They were ignoring us even after we showed them our tickets. Then the manager came out and confirmed my story.

Everybody left except 3 people that refused to leave. As soon as the door opened they started running like crazy inside the store to get to electronics. Of course in the end they did not get it since they didn't have tickets but it goes to show you how stubborn people can be.

Nice deal with screwing those ppl in line! NICE... I just waited in line today at walmart in Gulf Shores, Alabama. Anyhow they had 11 in stock and I was second in line. Well you know as usual the desperate parents decided to walk up around 7am to buy tickets. Me and another guy ended up selling our tickets since this was gonna be my 4th Wii I will have gotten and I told her look, I wont take less than 200 right now for my ticket in line. She pulls out 200 cash and gives it to me. I said thank you and walked off I made more money than I would have off of Ebay with their rip off cut of every auction! LOL So dont fret people, they are out there, just hunt them down! I mean im up to 4 myself now since lauch and I have gotten all individually and never bought 2 at one time! Anywho, I ended up going to EB and buying a Black DS and mario kart and a use Metroid hunter game with the money I had made off from her and used part of my money to pay my cable bill! LOL Just for waiting in line 6 hours!! haha

i neeed the wii soo bad... but doesnt everyone? i have been calling and calling for the past week but nobody gives any information... i was going to camp out last night for the walmart shipments today... but my parents dont like the idea of it. and i was too slow for the online release... hopefully ill get it soon. does anybody have any info on shipments for this weekend?

I was going to get up early and go to WalMart like a couple of other Joes. I called them at 10:00 am. on Tuesday and asked how many they had in; "eight" came the reply, "and there are already people in line."

At this point I gave up. Who would wait almost 24 hours for a game console? I am willing to get up early, but I have to maintain a little dignity here. The Wii has driven people to madness. I guess it's up to the jobless and the soccer moms to wait around for the remaining pre-christmas wii's.

Good job to the kid above though, that's an average of over 33 bucks an hour.
