I'm in Princeton, New Jersey and looking for a Wii... do you think my best bet is April 1 at Toys R Us? If so, how early would you guys recommend getting there if the store opens at 10:00?

Hey I have a wii I am trying to sell and I don't have a seller reputation on ebay so I would rather not post it unless i have a for sure buyer. It is used and I have twilight princess and call of duty 3. It also has an extra remote. I want 275 for all of it! If you are interested in this give me a message asap. For GTA, I would suggest Zellers. I live in Milton. On Saturday, they were having a pre-sale. For 396.00 CND you get the Wii console, and your choice of two accesories (wii points, wii classic controller, a game, or a wii nunchuck controller). It might be sold out by now though. I was there last week (18th) at the Totowa, NJ TRU at 7:15AM to get the Wii I'd suggest you get there early. Also, I'd call around Friday or so to make sure they got them in. Make sure you talk to someone in electronics and try to pump them for info. The "receptionists" all said NO until I got back to the electronics and asked them.

my email is harrisontp@hotmail.com and the reason i am getting rid of it is that i never wanted it in the first place. Im not that big of a gamer and it was a christmas gift. I thought i would give it a try but i havent touched it since xmas day really. I would rather have the money for tuition for summer school.

If anyone is in the Dallas area looking I just picked up a Wii at the Walmart on Hwy 80 in Mesquite. Went there for headphones and got a Wii.

They just put them out and had about 15 more.

If you're a SAM's Club member, you might be in luck. I just got my Wii today at the Bloomington SAM's Club. I saw a thread where other SAM's had them in stock, so I called Bloomington early this afternoon and after a few minutes to confirm availability, they said that they had a few in stock, but couldn't hold any for me.

I had meetings and couldn't slip away, but I called again later to see if any more were remaining and was told immediately that all were gone. I didn't leave the office early, but once I got home I decided to call again. This time, the person went to check and said that they had some. I grabbed a few things and headed out, but not really expecting much.

Once I got to the store, I searched all over the electronics area for the consoles or the cardboard "vouchers" that SAM's uses for iPods etc. I couldn't find anyone to ask on the floor, but approached the person checking receipts as people exit. She got on the walkie-talkie and found that they did indeed have Wii's in the "lock-up." A couple of minutes later, I was walking out of the store with one.

I have no idea how many more they have, when I asked, the guy who got it for me said I could only purchase one and I didn't press my luck. However, if you call, make sure they check the "lock-up" as one of the people working the customer service area had no idea that they were in stock - she was shocked when she overheard my request and the answer.

Oh and if you're not a SAM's Club member, I was told by TRU and Walmart in Bloomington that they would have them for Sunday.

so whats the deal with the 4/1/07 availability in TRU and Walmart? are they actually going to have units in stock, or is this part of a april fools day joke played by posters here? im buying one for my son, and his bday is rapily approaching, i need to know if im going to have a chance at getting one if i drag myself out of bed at the crack of dawn this coming sunday morning (4/1).... please can anyone verify if there will be systems available?

The reason that I have only 1 post in this forum is because I do not have a wii. Tell me, why would I bother to post in a wii forum without intention to get a wii, other than bash it? That is not why I'm here, I was just hoping for a little help.
