Still on the Search for Wii?

I'm new to the forum, but I've been reading for awhile and the info on here led me to finally get a Wii last weekend at CC. Thanks to everyone for the info.

While I was still looking last week, I talked to the electronics guy at TRU and he confirmed that their next shipment would be in April 1. Since that's a Sunday, I can only assume it confirms the fact that they will already have them and will be playing the vocher game at the door.

I'm in Dallas, TX and last weekend the people who showed up at CC by 8:30 (store opens at 10) got a voucher. Good luck to those still searching!

all the TRU stores are getting shipment in april 1st? include farmington hills, Michigan?

I was @ TRU in Bridgepoint today, they said they will have 70 on sunday. I then went to redwood city tru, and they said they will likely have half of that (~35).
RWC also had a bunch of nunchucks as well.

I've got my wii, but I can't help hunting them down, it's in my blood.

Any one know if the Toys R Us rumor is true for Southern California. Also anyone have any tips for me in San Diego. I'm just starting my search for a Wii and any help would be appreciated.

I just called my local Wal-mart and the worker told me they would have some on Sunday. I don't know about other Wal-marts but I hope I can help someone other then myself with this.

Is there any proof to the TRU ad? I searched their Web site where you can see their weekly ad and didn't see anything about the Wii. I can't wait to get one, someone please help!

The way I found my Wii was I searched on google "Nintendo Wii Finder"

There are sites that track whatever stores have Wiis in stock.
This got me a Wii in early January this year, when they were extremely hard to find.

have you guys checked out craigslist.org? I didn't feel like paying $100 extra getting a wii on ebay, but craigslist has a fair amount of wiis for sale for some reason. since it is local, you don't have to pay for shipping since youd just pick it up in person, and the prices are a lot better. i got one a couple weeks ago, brand new, for $300 (with receipt included), which if you think about it is only $25 more than regular price if you take into account taxes.

Heres a link that will track Wii's in stock, but i found it best to preorder with one of the websites further down the page it actually dispatched about 3days after i ordered so it wasn't long. But most retailers in it are in the UK so i'm unsure if the rest of yous will find it usefull.

But it is usefull, it has a page were you leave it open and it updates every minute for you to see where theres stock.

I tried my first attempt at getting a Wii after seeing on Saturday night that the wii was advertised in the online Sunday walmart circular . Got in line at 6:20 and got a number at 7:15. I was number 5. Came back to the store right at 8 and picked it up. There were 10 available. I think my odds were better with the big Toys R US release. most of the stores don't

I live in Hamilton, and all I know is that when Futureshop is going to get them in it will be a monday morning. Walmart will be noon-ish on Tuesday or Wednesday. Toys R Us is every other Saturday.

Those may or may not be the same for you, since you aren't that far away.

Ebgames gets them in whenever. I got called around 10:30 on a friday a couple weeks ago and they had just got them in that morning. Went at 11:00 to pick one up.

got one this morning from toys r us. They had 10. no line or anything, more of a mad dash when the store opened, so there was no point in getting there early.

Finally got one. I posted it up at Walmart last night at 9:45 and waited there until midnight. There was no line, but oh well, i still got mine biatches!!! thanks for the help. what games should i get?
