Still on the Search for Wii?

hey guys i have been lookin for a wii for the longest time, prob longer than all of u, i live in the smallest state RI and i was wondering if u guys had ANY information on what day they will b stocked up on in the future. Some guy with the username grindin said 4/22 at a big chain store, so please give a bro one more clue and if theres anyyyyy possible way ill b very thankful if u say which store, thanks guys

Try to be one of the first 5 people this Sunday at Circuit City and you wont be dissapointed.

I say 5 since outside of any major city all the chain stores are allocated way less compared to major metro areas like where I live: NYC.

Each of my CC's usually gets in the 40's and haven't been selling out until 2-3 hours after store opened since February.

Yeah, sorry, but...the early bird cathes the worm...I guess you're right about that but beating the $#!T out of someone who took last wii from the shop that you finally got to after a 14 hour drive with the whole family in a mini is a whole different story.

Not too sure about Circut City, but I work in Best Buy and we just received about ~50 (or around there) of them. Best Buy has them for this Sunday's ad so be sure to be there early if you want a chance to grab a Wii.

ALL Best Buys received around 50 today (Some more then others). They will be holding them for this Sundays Ad. All States/Countrys/Anywhere where there is a Best Buy.

I don't think itrackr works for Canadians but I use that and this Yahoo Widget that is supposed to tell if Wii's are in stock. I think I used google and searched for Wii Widget Yahoo or something. It should be at www.outtastock.com

I haven't had luck with the itrackr even with the text messaging enabled. The GameStop and EBgames updates are unreliable (got the message 1 day later) and the only other stores tracked are Target, Circuit City, and CompUSA and they haven't updated for the past 2 weeks or so.

So having the tracker = having the wii? Not necessarily. Better luck getting tips on weekly ads for CC, BB, and TRU from these forums really.

I am new here, finally, it's the end of search for me. I got mine from BestBuy San Fran, and I did not have to wait in line on Monday morning.

Wii's are trickled in in small quantity right now, the inventory should only improve from now on. Good luck to people still looking, I think everyone should have no problem getting one in a month or two from now.

^ I agree. It seems Nintendo Is steadily dishing out the Wii's but the only people who are going to get one are the ones that have good timing and luck that find a Wii just sitting on the shelfs. Also the people that track it or get a tip from someone.
