Can anyone give me some tips on where and when are my best chances to get a Wii? I live in Canada so none of the tracking websites I've seen here apply. Anyone know of any shipments coming to the Toronto area? Thanks in advance for your help!

I just got another Wii today I sold it back in January to get my 360 and I just got one at EB Games. Pretty happy bout it cuz now all the good games are coming out for wii finally. I live in Whitby btw,East of Toronto,your best bet is to just keep calling eb games and try that way not much I can say sorry

If you have more than one local EBGames/GameStop's near you, keep calling the one that gets the earlier UPS delivery. If they have them on that day, you'll have enough time to get the other stores before all the Wii are all sold out.

Wow, i cannot believe America/Canada is having so many issues keeping stock.

Here in aus, KMart advertised a package for AUD $449 (RRP is $399 for console alone here), over a 7 day period, i went in on the 5th day at around 4:30pm, and picked up the package, i got:

Standard console package (mote/nun chunk/wii sports/console)
Sonic and the secret rings
the wii sports attachments (golf club / tennis racquet / baseball bat)
Wii-mote steering wheel attachment
and wii-mote controller attachment
and a bag to put it all in

I guess being in the area i am in there isn't a lot of demand due to a smaller population, Good luck to you guys, i hope you all get one soon, but surely getting one can't be as bad as this thread makes it sound?

We had no stocks for the entire month of March, not a single store received any stocks in that period, zero. Wii's are finally starting to arrive in the beginning of April, and are now trickling in.

Managed to get one at an eb today. Thanks for the help.

I'm in Milwaukee and was wondering where a Wii was seen in a Chicago Target?

Looks like after TRU and Circuitcity had a huge shipment the other week that most of the people looking for Wii's in Dallas have them now. Itrackr shows constant stock which is the first time since the release. I was able to direct a friend to a GameStop and he picked it up right away.

I got mine last night at 12:01 at Wal-Mart. They said they had 7 and the ad said they had minimum 7. I was 6th in line and I got the last one. I can't believe Wal-Mart did that! Anyone else have an issue with them?

For canadian Air Miles program member, you can get Wii from there!
my parents-in-law got massive Air Miles credits, and they traded for 2 consoles of Nintendo Wii.
We placed the order back in early April 2007, in the Air Miles web site, it indicated "Back order until May 18, 2007".
Well, we ordered them, and we received them on April 30th, 2007!!!

The Wii shortage seems to be giving way finally. I have seen atleast one console in the case at Walmart the last two visits.
