Here's something I recently decided to give a try. It requires some work, but a free wii would be worth it. You just have to earn one credit, and get six of your friends/family to do the same, and you get a free wii. The best two are efax and stamps.com, as they are free and get you over the limit.

for the brits, woolworthes have got a few instock and Argos might have some (if your woolies hasnt got it ask for an in store order of it, just means another store send it up to your store)

At the Costco here in Boca, Florida had ~25 Wiis and ~30 PS3s ~20 360s, they had alot of consels there, also a ton of DS lites

been trying to get one of these for 2 and a half weeks now, three times the person in front of me got the last wii. So when it happend today, i said screw it and got a 360. I woulda been happier with a wii, but at least now i'm stress free and not running around wasting gas.

Maybe i'll get one when they're down to around 100 bucks. Nintendo's doin well, but there's no question they've lost tons of money from people like me who just said forget it, i don't need anymore hassle.

I mean come on, 6 months after release there should not be shortages like this. You can't keep saying "well they didn't know there would be this kind of demand." They knew there was this kind of demand 3 months ago, and production did not increase to readily meet that demand. Smart business says if demand>supply you either up the price, or you create more supply to get more money. They've done neither.

Bottom line..... They're great at being innovative, but they suck at business.

My brother works for walmart thats how i got mine..But anyhow..All shipments of Wii's come in monday nights for tuesday sales..And right now there keeping a few in the back rooms(all wallmarts) for the memorial day sale..So go to wally world at 6am on tuesday and you guys should get one..

My wife and I lined up at Best Buy in Rancho Cucamonga and got 1 unit each. Apparently, we were told that the bigger BB stores get more. That day they had 24 to sell. Of course, lining up at 5:30am on a Sunday did help. We were buyers #3 & #4.

A week after that, we were up in Spokane Valley Mall (Wa) I walked in this EBGames store and casually asked the gal there if they had any Wii's. I was surprised when she said "As a matter of fact we do. They were just delivered 'bout half an hour ago." This was like before noon. So my wife and I bought 1 each again.

We kept one and sold the rest to friends.

I got one on Friday afternoon from Wal-Mart. I was grocery shopping and thought I'd check and there was one left in the case so I grabbed it. Yesterday when I went back to see about getting another game, again, there was one in the case. I think they were just selling one at a time before the weekend sale?
