I had no idea they were still hard to get and decided to pick one up this weekend for the kids ( and mom and dad ) to play during summer break. Everyone laughed at us when we went in to ask if they had any in stock. Finally Best Buy told us this: check the Sunday ads on Saturday (they post this on their website after midnight) If you see that the Wii will be in stock for that Sunday, get to the store at least 2 hours beforing opening. We got to our Best Buy store at 8 am and we were three in line and were able to get our Wii hassell free.

On a side note, even though the paper said they would only have 9 in, the store had at least 15 (they're packed three per box) so if there's already 9 people in front of you, it couldnt hurt to see if there's any left.

Does anyone know when Stores like Best Buy and Gamestop get shippments in? I went to 5 stores tonight and no one had the wii in!!!!I will go back hunting tommorw but just wanted to see if anyone knew when they usually get shippments in

If you live in tampa and are a veteran then try going to macdill airforce. I heard they usually have them on fridays. My friends grandma just put one on lay - away for me.

I just odrdered mine from Video Games ETC there 299 but you get to pick a game with that. They said it should be about 2-3 weeks! YAHOOO!! I cant wait!!!!

Im still searching for my wii, does anyone know if there will be any special shipments for the 4th of July? Or if there are any shipments coming to major retailers this upcoming weekend? Any info is greatly appreciated.

You should call around to any stores like Best Buy, Target, Walmart, Gamestop, EB Games, etc. Ask them when their next shipment is or if they have any and whatnot. And if im not mistaken, they usually get shipments in on Sundays. And sorry, I dont think they do anything special for the fourth of july as it really isn't a gift-giving kind of holiday.

It prolly doesn't matter all that much, but i'd maybe say evening just because since it's later in the day they might know if they're getting any. But i'm not sure, I think it doesn't matter all that much though. And if you ever find that some store is getting a shipment, get there a little early. At least before it opens than you have a better chance of getting one.

The retailers here get them anytime on weekdays. Wiis don't come on the store trucks but on UPS or FedEx trucks. Plus, they usually sell them when they get them. When they sell on sundays, it's because they're in the store ad.

Check your Targets. I live in Cleveland and I just got mine at 11:30am and was the first one to grab one. We went back at 5:30pm and got the last one. It looked like they had only 9.
