itrackr.com is failing to send confirmation emails. I got the cell phone text no problem, but I've been waiting (and resubmitting different addresses) for my confirmation email.

Counting on wiialerts to pull through for now. I should have pulled the trigger on getting a Wii a long time ago.

Wii's will be available at stores at Circuit City and Target next Sunday the 16th of December. Best Buy, TRU, and others are unknown at the moment.

Should I call my Target to confirm this?

I idiotically traded in my wii and bought an xbox 360 which i now regret, i am trading in my xbox on friday but i wonder how long it will be before i can get another wii, stupid stocks

well i was searching for one during the beggining of the start of this most recent summer and i called around and around for one and then i came upon one at gamestop ...i live in the sandiego county so i got lucky but it was the best day of my life because i told my brother to get it for me so he bought it with wii play the y came home grabed it and it was so exciting ... played for hours till football practice.....know im waiting for x mas to get a ds

How early do I need to show up to get a wii? 4am?

At a best buy near me, they said they had people show up at midnight...

I have a more general question about finding a Wii. Ever since my fiancee said she would buy me a Wii if I can find one, I've become a bit obsessed in the search process. Obviously, we shouldn't have waited until 2 weeks before Christmas.

Here's my approach: wiialerts, itrackr, and constantly checking forums like this one and slickdeals for "in stock" postings. I may hang around at Wal-Mart during the time the lady said they usually come in stock, but I'm not holding my breath. As far as online stock goes at Amazon, Wal-Mart, Target, etc., is it usually totally random times when stock is replenished?

All that said, should I feel safe just trusting wiialerts and itrackr to let me know when there's stock?

I'm in the same boat as you. If I don't get lucky this week sometime, (that is, at finding a Wii) I'm planning on getting to Target extra early. It opens earlier than Circuit City, so that's probably the place to be. I fear we will probably need to be there at least as early as 4, especially if there is a flyer in the weekend papers about them.

Well, I just started using itrackr, and already I feel its not enough. I basicly just call every day when they open, and then around 4-5pm...


on another note, I heard blockbuster will sell wiis... has anyone ever gotten on from there?

It blows my mind that someone would charge that for a wii. At least we can rest at ease that he probably wont sell out anytime soon.

I finally got my wii, after searching about 30 different stores. I found out however that this weekend the 16th, they will be in the adds for the stores, as it appears someone already posted. That happened two weeks ago too, and i had no luck then, if the store opened at 10 (which most of them di..ie 3circuit citys, and 3 best buys) they started handing out tickets for the wii systems at 8am. they said the lines snaked around forever, so for a 10am store opening you may want to look at getting in line around 6am, if you are lucky and get a ticket at 8, you can go home and come back when the store is open to pick it up. toys r us opens at 8 am, therefore they gave out tickets at 6am...needing to be there at 4am....around here its freezing and not all that found to be standing outside...but if you really want a wii its worth it

wow someone charging that much for a wii -- it has to be some kind of scam. i really hope no one gets desperate enough to use that.

i got mine last weekend. toys r us always seems to have more than anywhere else. just call around too make sure they are going to have some. & depending on how many they have depends on how early you should get there.

i do know right now that toys r us has a sale on games. (at least where i live) they have buy one get one half off of activision games & on thq games.

It wasn't that secret. Anyone could find the information with minimal online searching (e.g., slickdeals, itrackr's Wii group, etc.). I was just going to post it for everyone's convenience.

The only problem with your logic is that the only reason why its on those sites is because an employee leaked the secret.
