I can't believe it but I was actually able to snag a wii from Walmart on New Years. However, I went today to look at games but they were pretty much out. I think they must have gotten a large shipment in cuz even accessories gone

chgo posters, have y'all tried craigslist ? I got mine there, the prices have dropped. It's still extra over retail but at least you have it without the hassle. That's what I did.

You folks are lucky, here in philly the price has been a steady $350 on craigslist. Maybe now that the holidays are over the price will drop. But I refuse to pay anyone more than retail for this thing. Good luck all.

I've been looking since I went to a New Year's party and finally got a chance to play one. Needless to say my girlfriend and I had a blast and are ready for our own. Haven't had any luck these past 5 days calling/visiting every electronics/retail store. Just a lot of store rep's with attitudes. "No Wii's!" that was one of the answers I received. Along with one rep at a Target telling me yes, and then saying, "nah I'm just playing we ain't got any." I guess that's Memphis for ya.

I bought my Nintendo Wii on eBay.
It's the Ultimate Wii bundle that normally sells for $ 600 and up on the internet. The seller provided a receipt and he paid $ 399.99 plus sales tax for a total of about $ 431.00. Then shipping to me costed the seller $ 42.00, so the selller expended $ 473.00 and I paid him $ 480.00 for this eBay purchase.

So I got the Ultimate Wii bundle for only $ 7.00 over the seller's cost.
It's possible to get good deals on eBay if you are patient.

well i got my wii from gamestop a few days back and im loving the wii..i play that more than my ps3 and my 360
i got my wii from that reserve thing for game stop
and i found out that game stop wont have them after they distribute the reservations
MOST OF THE SHIPPING FOR GAME STOP IS FROM 9:30ish to 11

Before 'cdnpianst' pointed me to the Amazon.ca offering, I was told that Costco was getting shipments this month and that EB Games WOULD DEFINATELY be getting shipments in February or just before.

I'd go to your closest EB Games and talk nicely to the manager to see if he/she could hold one for you or contact you when they arrive.

If you are having trouble in the Uk getting a wii try www.wii-consoles.co.uk. It's a stock updater. I can see now that it is showing Gamestation and Micro Direct have wiis in stock. You have to be really quick tho. It updates every 60 seconds. If thats no good I got my Wii on ebay on Wednesday 2nd Jan and had it by Friday, all for £200 on a buy it now. They are out there

out of pure curiosity, when you reserved your Wii at gamestop, what time of day did you go in?

The reason I am asking is becasue I got mine reserved at gamestop but was able to get one of the last two they had left and was wondering if they are calling in order that people reserved theirs.

Hi guys. I've been reading these forums as an unregistered user for about a year. I really just do not have anything to say most of the time, but now I finally need some help.

I live in Michigan, right outside of Flint for those of you familiar w/ MI.

Does anyone have ANY information on the UPS shipment days/times for Target, Best Buy, Circuit City and Walmart for around this region? It seems like every time I ask a worker, they tell me that 'it varies, there is no set day or time'.

Any help is appreciated (i'm STILL searching desperately for a wii - and yes I have itrackr).

go to gamestop for SURE they going to OVERSTOCK on wii after JAN 25 08
cuz thats the last day they pass out their wii's they have on stock
so after all thats gone..they going to have a lot of wii

I just joined today, and haven't read this thread, so I apologize if this is old information. I got a Wii from the tracker nowinstock.net. GREAT website.

Also, ToysRUs has a couple bundles available for around $489 Some of the games are good, others, not so much. You may want to check first, but some people were talking about returning or trading the games. I just sold my extras on Ebay.

Has anyone heard from any of the retail stores when the Wii is going to be available again? It hasn't been in the major store ads since December 16th. It's got to be coming up soon to another Sunday ad. I just saw something about January 20th for some reason. Has anyone heard anything else on the next major sale of Wii's on Sunday. That's the best chance at getting one in my opinion.
