okay so if you want a wii i would be checking in on Target stores between the 7th and 13th of this month. there should be random shipments then. also it will be in stores on sunday the 24th. Keep in mind that it will be in the ad so chances are there will be big lines before the store opens.

Heard from CAG that wiis will be at Toys R Us,Sunday 2/10/08. Also Guitar Hero 3 is on sale for $20 off.

Anyone going to TRU Sunday. Make sure you bring ID, I heard that they really enforce the 1 per household rule. So no ID=no Wii. Good luck!

this is how i got a NEW wii and RETAIL price during Xmas rush.
i did NOT camp out at the store

look for a store advertising wiis in their circulars... this can take MUCH circular hunting...
be THE FIRST customer for the day posted in the circular and run straight to get one... (shouldn't require campling out today since we're out of the xmas rush, right?)...
if they are "out" show them the circular that showed they would have one and ask for a rain check
if they don't give rain-checks then INSIST that they do! they advertised that they WOULD have them in their circular... AFTERALL you were the first customer in the store!
you should be able to get a rain check due to a false forcast in the circular

i didn't have to take much time while they decided to agree, but i would've pushed very hard and spent much time standing there insisting everytime a customer was in ear-shot.

Just because an item is in a ad does not mean your local retailer will have it. They are national ads and stock varys by store which is stated in all retail ads.

if your local ad has it in the Sunday ad, then at at time the store opens, they WILL, WITHOUT FAIL have at least the minimum per store, its just that they will be gone very fast

Im on the hunt as well and stopped by one of the local Toys R Us stores in Houston today and they confirmed that they will be selling them on Sun.

The ad has to say that there will be a minimum per store. At my store we didn't have Wii's and it was in the add but the ad didn't promise systems per store.

i called toys r us that day and they were sold out by 4. so i asked if they were gonna stock up before march. they said yeah, but they dont know when right now? does anyone know? and whoever went to toys r us. did u buy it in the back at the storage room?

At my Toys R Us, they handed everyone vouchers, and then once the store opened we lined up out side of the electronics department. They let 2-3 people in at a time to buy the wiis that were sitting behind the counter.
