My crazy wife saw 3 wii's in stock today at wal-mart and bought them...she figured she could sell them on e-bay.
I'll give anyone here first dibs if you're interested.

ALL BEST BUYS HAVE WIIs.... same as plenty of other stores... for the sunday ad... if you guys want a wii, best buy is the place to go... that all got like a minimum of 30 (i think)

Anyone know anything about Rockville, Maryland or the surrounding area? I called 20 gamestops (thats right 20, not 2), 2 bestbuys, 3 circuit cities, 2 targets, 1 walmart and all said that they had none in stock. Was hoping for some help on the shipping times.
I have heard that Toy's R' Us gets shipments in on sundays nationally, but thats all I know. Hopefully someone here has more info

This is how my mom got my Wii for christmas in 06, when they were like impossible to get ANYWHERE! Go to Toy'R'Us and find someone in the gaming department that looks nice and friendly. Start a conversation with them about something and then like sneak in a question quietly to them like "Hey, do you have any idea when your next shipment of Wii's are coming in?" they told my mom and she just had to go to the place at like 6:00 A.M. lol

 This is how I got my Wii. If you go to an Army base (Visiter or if you have ID), go to the PX and I always see several Wiis in 5 seperate ones.

I've accepted the reality that I'll never find a Wii. I've searched every Best Buy, GameStop, and WalMart in a tri-county area; and I've checked every online retailer that would sell them, short of paying $100 more on eBay.
No luck. I give up. :-\

Actually, here in Rochester, there are quite a few Gamestops that have a few in stock. But you are right in saying that you won't find one for $200...

Incorrect. Just nowhere near you. Countless people even just on this thread have reported them in-stock, in numerous quantities. Our local Costco had them recently. So did Amazon and Sears. You just have to be patient and diligent.

That's a tough one. You may want to call your Target store a day or two before and ask if they know how many they will be getting. Some stores will tell you, some won't. Still, if you can, it won't hurt to get there as early as you can, even if it's 2 hours before, just to ensure you get one...
