Best Way to find out if Toys R Us will have any on Sunday is check their Sunday Flyer in the newspaper because their ad starts then, hope that helps.

The common response I get from Best Buy, is they they get a shipement everyday (via UPS or Fedex) and twice a week they get a trunk from their main distribution and they don't know if they have Wii's until either one arrives. Plus, I think my Best Buy by me is getting fed up w/ ppl calling they are now giving automated responses lol

whats the deal with best buy, toys R us, circut city, target and whoever else i hear getting wii's in? Some people saying Friday, Saturday, and or Sunday...is this for specific area's or is it ALL of them...kinda nation wide like they did at wal-mart on the 6th? This is insane...

I pre-ordered and didnt get one so the chances are slim at best. I think Asda got hammered last night as they had some wiis heard talk of queues two or three times longer than the amount of wiis they had.

There apparently should be another shipment coming in next week but I think that will get eaten up mostly by outstanding pre-orders.

Amazon.co.uk selling Wii between 4pm and 5pm today(8th).

Amazon.co.uk? Aren't the wiis sold in europe different than the ones sold here in the u.s.? I think you will have some compatibility issues if you plan to use it here in u.s. I guess its a good idea if you live over there.

Edit: Yep, the Euro ones are different in 3 ways
1) They are for a PAL TV set, the US uses NTSC
2) They need 230V
3) They only accept euro/australian coded Games (like dvds)

This is UNBELIEVABLE...i just went to best buy to get the low down about if any wii were coming in and to pick up a flyer. I asked the guy at the door if he knew anything and he told me most likely they would get a shipment in b4 x-mas and that it would be in the new flyers coming out. so check back tomorrow or the following week...HE THEN goes on to ask if i am interested in a ps3!?!?!!? WTF is that? SERIOUSLY...arnt these things like 4BILLION times HARDER to find then the wii?said it was a surprise shipment thats why they werent gone. I dont have the money for a ps3 and dont want to pay that much anyways but SERIOUSLY ppl...talk about irony...sheesh
