If your in australia you can find wii's at Eb games but you cannot find one nunchuck anywhere!

Bizcron method worked for me as well today. Checked that site, and eb games in Montgomery Mall in Bethesda had the wii in stock - I was just in time, and got the last one for $249 + taxes. The salesman there also confirmed that they will have the Wii Fit on May 21.

I don't know if this is news or not (haven't read the entire thread) but the blockbusters in des moines Iowa just started selling nintendo Wii's and equipment (controllers, guns, etc).

Apparently they just got the stuff this week and haven't even put out the displays yet. The first store I checked had just sold their last 2, and I got the last one from the 2nd store I called.

Things usually take a little longer to get to Iowa so this may already be common knowledge, but just in case no one had heard this yet it's another place to try!

The Wal-Mart, Target and Circuit City in my area (western part of Virginia) have all had Wiis for the past week or so. I am getting the feeling, at least in this area, that the availability has caught up with the demand. Same with the DS -- they've been in stores (including GameStop) for the last couple of weeks.

Anyone else notice this where they live?

i know a few resellers selling them at face value!! Looks like the "artificial demand" is not going to last.

I also heard that at Walmart you can go in and buy a ticket for $200 and pay $50 on Sunday when you pick up the Wii.

You know, I used to not believe in the rumors that Nintendo was keeping stock low to keep the demand higher and make it more popular, but after a year and a half of being sold out in a matter of hours after being stocked is just plain ridiculous. There is no excuse, especially with how cheap it is to make the Wii system.

In case anyone is interested, and still looking. Circuit City has Wii bundles IN STOCK as of 8:56 EST, May 7th. It's around $400. You choose two games at $50, console and extra remote and nunchuck.

If you ever see them in stock, Target is the best/cheapest place to purchase a new Wii.

Sign up for their credit-card and buy the system for $225($25 savings or 10% off) and then wait a few minutes and go up to the customer-service desk and pay the system off with your debit-card and then close the credit-card when it arrives in the mail!

I finally found a nintendo wii........After trying every trick in the book i gave up. A few weeks later i just stumbled upon one in target. Dont get to stressed its mostly just luck
