hey wii. you should give your dad more props and stop bashing him. i respect him for trying to surprise you. shows his love for you. just let him know that it'll be the 17th that he should camp out

also, i called CC today and they told me that they are not expecting any tomorrow. so i guess that solidifies it for me in So Cal that the 17th is the day to camp!!! no wii though...for one week....how sad....

Well I learned a valuable lesson today kiddies...don't distrust the Wii Seeker, haha.

Atleast now I know for sure that my Target is getting them the 17th...I'll be there bright n early!

Well, I got to Best Buy today 2 and half hours before it opened and waited. I also got in line at Toys R Us right when it opened, but there were no Wii's to be had at either location upon opening. Both places had lines and people were confident that we would get one today, but still nothing.

Last night, however, the general manager at my local GameStop told me that they are definitely selling the Wii on December 17th, so don't give up hope of getting one.

So are there a lot of people on here that are camping for the 17th? I found out the people at the Target I went to were waiting for PS3's.

I doubt if I'll really have to go too early either. I just don't want to take any chances...I've read all around this forum that people say there's massive lines outside stores in their area in the wee hours of the morning. I guess that doesn't happen around here or there's not much demand for the PS3. About five people were there at the front doors before opening. I hope not too many show for the 17th when the Wii arrives as well. I know I'm getting one though, I do have the patience. Waiting isn't so bad really and I'm not even mad that I didn't get one today, atleast I know the 17th they'll have them for sure.

I have no idea about Canada's releases. But it's confirmed that Target will have them the 17th. Also people are saying Best Buy, EB Games, and Walmart for the 17th. Walmart should be your last choice...heh

well...if we had Target here, then i would be really happy!

Unfortunately we don't.

I just hope that Best Buy/EB/Walmart confirm their next shipments at some point.

When do Targets / TRU start giving out tickets normally for those who wait in line? Like an hour before opening, or at opening, or like at midnight the night before??
