My friends still looking for a wii, and he already pre-ordered one at a futureshop. anybody know where to get a wii, or when futureshops gonna get a new shipment of wiis? Cause he really wants to get it asap and he's hoping to get it from futureshop. Any information would help, thanks
P.S: we're looking for wiis in Canada, Ontario, Richmond hill or anywhere around there.

i called targets, walmarts, and best buys; all except walmart said they'll be getting a shipment on sunday 17th. target said they'll be handing out tickets at 7am, and they'll be getting a lot. Only prob. is im going to my cousins graduation on friday in carbondale,illinois I can still get up around 4am on sunday to get a wii but is anyone familar with this place, how big or small is it. Its a place full of hicks though, so maybe ill have luck.

Hm. All these stores are getting a second shipment of PS3s on the 17th also. It's probably gonna be crowded.

My Best Buy, Target, and walmart are not getting anying on thw 17th. So the 17th is only for some stores?

It could be in certain markets only on the 17th, but I know my area target is confirmed on the 17th, BB is a maybe, and CC show's nothing yet. I keep checking the in transit status to see but for now it looks like a definate maybe.

2 days ago I bought a brand new Nintendo Wii from ebay in australia for £141 with £36 postage. Not bad.

I got a notification that my local gamestop has wii's in last night at about 4am by the "wiifinder" service...which has been total garbage so far and this is the first time its sent me any notification. Do you guys think I should listen to it and take the hour journey to the gamestop? Keep in mind its really cold outside and I got very drunk last night(last day of classes in college...tradition...not usually an alcoholic that gets drunk on mondays)

Hey I also subscribed to the WiiFinder service... it's only good for notifying you of suply changes to the major online stores, not the physical stores. If you got an email notice from WiiFinder about Gamestop, chances are they changed something on their website concerning quantities. I would call the store before driving an hour out there in the cold.
Also, do some research... major retailers like target, walmart and circuit city are getting rather large shipments of the Wii in this Sunday.
