He should be able to help you, and if they still say no.. maybe they are lying, maybe the truth.

The worst thing is that i have several options: Best Buy, Target, EBGames, Circuit City, ToysRus, GameStop ..... in wich one do you see more possibilities to get one??? Im scared that i wait in one just to realize that other store sell the wiis and not mine

For most Walmarts you need to be lined up on Saturday night between 10pm-12 midnight. When most of them start handing out tickets.

that is a possibility, that is why you have to reach them, and get as much information as you can. I'm going to see if i can get them to spill the info as they know it. I'm possibly going to Best buy, or Circuit City. Maybe target, but they won't tell me anything, so im clueless. Best buy and Circuit city on the other hand, told me they will have some. Someone from my area: Northern Florida, told me best buy should have some, about 15+.

If you have a Best Buys, Circuit City, Ebgames and a Target store nearby, which would you go to for camping out a Wii?

This is in the Los Angeles area so obviously probably have to camp out earlier. I was thinking maybe 12-2AM.

Any thoughts on which store is better? I tried calling the different stores and of course, no real numbers of how many they may have to sell.

Oh side tidbit, the girl that answered at Best Buys said that some people got loitering tickets at their Best Buys for camping out during the launch period.

I'm going to either, Best buy or Circuit city. As, I've said before, they both told me they will have some wiis. They were the only stores of which i called that would cooperate. Target didn't help me worth nothing, saying they dont know anything. Well, i find that bogus, they should be recieving 10-50. But to be safe, i'll go with Best buy or Circuit City.

But that loitering ticket thing bugs me. The Ebgames person that answered said maybe 10-30 units. Personally I'm thinking its best to be within the first 5 in line to guarantee yourself, wherever you go.

Yeah. Well, I believe you should be in the top 5-10 people in line. But 5 you can most likely gurantee yourself a wii, unless somehow you get screwed. lol.
But, I hope best buy pulls through for me.

Just toying with what time to go. Its starting to remind me of when I camped out for PS2 when it was launched. But at least this time I'll be prepared for it.

When I camped for the PS2, went with a friend at around 9PM to take a look at the Best Buys without any gear and we saw a line so we just started camping with nothing but the clothes on our back. Needless to say... cold!

I'm leaving 4am. Hopefully, that works out just fine for me. I live in a small city, but a college city. But they left for home, so maybe i'll have a solid chance. If not, I'll be very dissapointed. Last chance for holiday shopping, last oppurtunity to get this system before christmas. I could play it during the winter break, give me something grand to do. If not, it will be quite lonely.

Originally before posting I was thinking maybe 2 or 3 hours before the store I camp at opens. But now I'm leaning towards what I posted, 12-2AM, or maybe a little later... I'm not sure still. I know that more then a few hours is definetly better since Los Angeles area has a big population.... only helps chances.

I know how you feel. I've been trying for weeks. My son turned in his Christmas list and all that is on it is the Wii. Problem is, he turned it in no more than 3 days after I walked past an entire shipment of Wii systems in Sams Club. Didn't give them a second glance at the time.

to all the boston campers...just to let u know the earlier the better i have done the camping out thing before and the lines fill quickly..best buy tagret for sure and I can't confirm Toyr us but an employee told me Sunday also. I will see u there..I will be one of the first 10 i go very early. This is my last shot n christmas is next week and my LIL'guy really wants it.
