For all those on the east coast, especially in NY, just head over to Nintendo World. You guys are so lucky...Us the the West Coast has to wait for these massive shipments to come in when you all can virtually pick up a Wii any day of the week.
I have decided to keep mine after picking up a Wiimote and Nunchuk online for $78 bucks...It was a hefty price, but not bad I guess considering it's literally impossible to find...
I just woke up after a long night's wait in the freezing cold in Stanford...I can't wait to play!!

i live in west virginia, but got it in ohio (st.clairsville, to be exact). when i got there, i estimated about 20 people in line. i thought about not even stopping, but figured "what the heck". turns out i was 17th, they had 22. its warm here, too, for this time of year...just an added bonus!!!!

My question is on Jan.2 will there be more stores that will be just in stock? Well for now im gonna preorder. If any1 preordered a wii, give me tips or how it went. Thanks.

okey so ive been playing wii since i got it this morning haha.. sooo happy.. but heres my full story.
i was going to let mydad sleep and just leave at like 4 am.. then something told me i should jus leave then at 12:30 am.. so i woke my dad up got to the mall in danvers,MA and saw a line and people roped off at best buy so i said keep driving.. then i saw target and there didnt look like a lot of kids so i got out and waited in line.. and the people had decided to make a list of 18 people since rumours spread they would have 18... so i thank whoever started the list soooo much... and then at like 1 am the manager came out and told usfor a fact they had 18... so i was excited but not definately sure id get one... i was number 17 out of 18 people... the 18th guy showed up at like a little after 1... and then nobody showed up for hours and then around 430 until the store opened tons of people were flocking in.. and we kept telling them they were wasting their time.. but some stayed and there was a good 35 people...and only 18 still... then the manager came out at like 630 and hung out with us and stuff and told us they definately had 18 and only 3 wiimotes. most of the people after 18 left but more piled in... everyone felt bad telling people they were too late but i didnt i was wayyy to excited.. then we gave the manager the list and he wrote our names on tickets and passed them out at 7. i rushed to the car but was to excited so i just waited back outside target and soon everyone followed hah. the people were extremely nice and some people bought us donuts and coffee and stuff. it was a fun crowd.. but at bestbuy there were like cops and yelling and supposedly fighting.. and target was extremely mellow. anyway.. i have my wii but i can only play wii sports and trauma center for now... i have to wait for christmas for zelda and rayman and some otherss. =]]]] well byue i must go play some more... I NEED SOME MORE WIIMOTTTSEESSS

So does anyone think there will be another shipment tomorrow at the main stores (BB, CC, Gamestop, EB Games), or anytime before Christmas for that matter? I'm also thinking of going to Nintendo World tomorrow to see if they are getting any more. Is that a good idea?

It was crazy this morning, HUGE lines here in Pensacola. I was waiting at the best buy where they got 24 in. By 7am when they passed out the tickets, there were a good 80 people inline. Of course people with the tickets rushed the rest and began to sell them. One guyended up selling his ticket for 300 dollars! WOW!!!! Eb games only got 9, Target got 14, Toys r us about the same, and circut city a whoppin 4!!! I fear this is the last shipment before christmas. Most only get one per 2 weeks so that puts the next shipment past christmas but before new years!!

OK I just called the Nintendo World store in Rockefeller Center. They have put on the looping announcement about store hours now because the store is closed for the day. But I got in before that happened. The Nintendo World Store WILL be receiving between 50 and 250 Wii consoles for tomorrow's opening at 7 am. There is already a line of about 15 people outside. They will be handing out tickets TONIGHT before the store's employees leave, sometime between 9-10 pm. Now, I asked if I could just get a ticket tonight and then leave and come back at opening tomorrow, but the lady said that I must stay in line even AFTER I get the ticket, as they 'barricade' you in. My question now is, "So then what good is getting a ticket, besides simply telling you your number in line?" Anybody have an answer? I'd love to go there right now and grab a ticket (because it would be a sure bet simply obtaining the ticket), but no way in hell am I waiting in line for 11 hours. Some of you guys may want to do that. If so, head over there right now and camp out - you're chances of getting a Wii tomorrow morning are currently around 95%. But does anybody know why this ticket policy is the way it is?
