Yesterday I called only a few, Futureshop, EBGames, and Toys R Us. Today I have a list of 14 stores to call.

I have confirmed shipment availability tommorow locally, I am going to sleep in my car so I can keep an eye on things.

No see, this is true dedication ladies and gents. If all of the little kiddies on this forum asking "WHEN IS MY GAMESTOP GETTING WII'S!!!!" would take a note from this guy... then we wouldn't have crap threads like that.

I never asked when game stop had the wii :P I'm trying to take some initiative and find out myself, but threads like this helped my friend get his wii on Friday.

Not where I live. And the only horrible part about me showing up at 5:30 in the morning was waiting till I got mine, 4th in line , thanks.

I guess its on a personal basis. We dont have toysrus around here ...and since Ive asked all major department stores, who DIDNT have any period....

As far as Best Buy is concerned, I called my local store yesterday and the person I talk to told me when they expected to receive them and how many. Then when I called back today they told me that they didn't know when or how many they would receive.

So either they changed their story or the first person I spoke to was messing with me.

im gonna bo buy a wii at zellers bcs most ppl would go to best buy or walmart but im out smarting them by going to the crapy store im gonna wait till second shipment wich is in a week or even two !!! man im dyeing to get a wii

Best Buy is going to have them tomorrow. They ran an ad in the sunday paper for the Wii.

I also work at best buy i suggest going to the most [Hard to find][less customers]more chance getting th wii] And we Are getting Wii consoles,games,and controllers And will be on shelves Nov 26 this sunday Arrive Early.

My mom and I tried Target, Best Buy, 2 Gamestop Stores, EBGames, and Kholes. But her and I are going to try Toys R Us and Walmart

I am not a big fan of Ebay, but I really wanted one of these NOW! To my surprise there is so many on ebay that the price are not that bad. Since I wanted my now, I did not mind paying $585.00. Also, this price included a Wii, Extra WiiMote, Extra Nunchuk, Zelda, and Redsteel. Hell, the crappy bundles at some of the stores were more then that. I used an ebay guy called LobosTech, he shipped fast. They said they had 2 more left, but that was 2 days ago. Hope this helps.

By the way, zelda rocks once you get the controls down. Also, the wii sports is great even if it is very simplistic.

im not in vegas right now, im at my grandmothers house in kingman. But i decided i'd take a drive and check the place out and see what i could scrounge up. Each place i went to had the same story. "Were having problems with the manufacturer not shipping enough to us, we dont know when we'll get any more in."

Just stopped by Bestbuy. It was insane there at 6:30 tonight. I bet it's even worse at 10am tomorrow morning. I'm going anyway.

In Canada, well locally at least, the stores sold units on Friday, so I doubt they will do it on Sunday.
