Is all the Targets getting them?

There are not links. Nobody knows for sure what is going down.

Apparently Toys R Us was going to sell them on the 22, but there have been a lot of reports that they got their shipment in today and sold them. Some stores might not have gotten their shipments in. So nobody knows.

As for Target. Reps have been saying they might get them in and there will be a truck delivering for them tonight. Perhaps tomorrow.

At this point hope is all we have if we want to get a Wii before Christmas. Well that or Ebay and I'm staying away from that place like the plague. Way overpriced from the XMas craze. I'm gonna stake out the local Target a few hours before opening and I'll let you know what happens.

i called best buy today and they had a recording saying they did not know when there next shipment would be for wii and ps3 . when they do come in they are going to go on the shelves and it will be first come first serve.then i called toys r us and they said they had them so i rushed up there to get one they had atleast 15 i got one but i had to get bundle with 2 games and warranty of 2 years for 375. they got them in at 2:30 put them on the shelves at 3:30 i got there at 4:00 the only problem was that i left in such a hurry i forgot my wallet so my wife had to bring it up to me.about 5 more sold in the half hour i was there. they also had atleast 20 ps3 and only 1 sold while i was there.

I personally have no intention of camping out unless I know that there is going to be a wii. I would personally suggest that myself but its the person's own choice. But remeber that by the looks of it they are not following the ROE that stores normally follow with giving out tickets before the store opens. It looks like there are going to just throw em on the shelves from the looks of it.

Just went to Toys R Us after work, yeah they got the shipment today.

When I asked him about the Wii he pointed at two people a place ahead of me in line and said "there's the last two we have."

Damn it.

PS: On the other hand they had 3 PS3's and the Best Buy I stopped at on the way home was unloading carts full (saw about 20) of PS3's.

I'll wait for my wii.

I was gonna camp, but i'm deciding to get up at 4 am since its not really confirmed anywhere. your thoughts?

I really would not suggest it. Unless you can get some confirmation that it WILL be out that morning it isn't worth it in my book. From the looks of the releases they are not holding the Wiis for a morning release they are just throwing em out there as soon as they get them it seems. In that case camping wont do you any good by going in early. Your best chance would be to just sit in the store for the entire day and wait till the day's shipment (if any) arrives and hope to grab em as they are set-out.

But once again you should really decide if it is worth it. It just seems from the info we are getting that they are just releasing them to first come first serve when the shipments arrive.


On another note I was wondering if those who either got a Wii or just missed getting one or can in any way confirm there was a shipment at a store near you could you tell us the city/type of store that had it? Around my area none of the stores have gotten shipments and are telling me not until after christmas. It would be nice to gather data on what areas have gotten this shipment and which ones haven't.

4am isn't really not worth it. its just a few hours earlier than when I would wake up.

At this point, I don't see any point in camping *unless* there's a flyer advertising a certain minimum of Wii's for sale on a particular date. Otherwise I'm finding that the stores are all putting the Wii's out as soon as they arrive and get unpacked.

well 4am will be good b/c if i find out some store is getting one during the day I will just sleep in the car and wait for that time.

My local TRU had 15 show up on the truck at 10:30 this morning. They were long gone by the time I asked about them. I don't see any purpose in camping out or coming early since they will not have any at 8:00 when they open and may not have any all day.

FYI; I work back room at target and the Wii's dont come on our trucks they come via UPS/Fedex (cant remember which one) On the other hand the PS3's do come on our trucks

Ive bought 4 Wii's now sold three of them for a $200 profit each LOL
