Still on the Search for Wii?

Well I am at the least dissapointed right now. Just came back from waiting for 5 hours at a Target that said they wold get wiis and then at 4 am they came out and said they were sorry but they don't have any, after that I drove by BB, CC, WM, and TRU and there wasn't a single person in line. This is in the Tampa Bay (FL) area and most of these stores are of US19. So does anyone have concrete info about whuch store will have wiis Saturday morning. Thanks.

I got up about 3 hours before 8:00 AM and I was going to check out the local Target to see if they were getting a shipment in. I stopped by Toys R Us to see if a line had formed and there were a few already there. I asked them if they knew anything and a couple of them said they they were told they were going to get a shipment tonight. Lucky enough they were right and I finally got my Wii. I'm so happy!

If it wasn't for this website and the Wiiseeker I wouldn't have known about today so I'm definitely happy I did my research here. Thanks for the help guys. To the people that have come up empty. Keep trying. That's all I really can say. It sucks for sure but if you really want one you should have it soon.

TRS is the best!!! I got a Wii this morning. Arrived at 6 a.m. was 5th in line and they had 10 wiis! Thank you all for the info that helped me find the wii.

Circuit City has the Wii available now! Its a practical bundle with 1 extra controller/nunchuk and twilight princess for about 360. Hurry!

hey... i pre ordered mine in gamestation in bournemouth (UK) i think i am the 81st in the line and the man said that they have 3 deliveries before xmas
does anyone know how many wii's will be in 1 delivery because my parents are not telling me if my wii has come until xmas day !!!

and i have heard all of these complaits about stock in all of the shops etc

i am starting to think it might not be there for xmas

so has anyone recieved theres from gamestation bournemouth yet and how many are in a delivery ?

Hi folks,

I'm new here, but I post on the Official UK Xbox Magazine forums since I'm also an Xbox 360 owner.

Anyway, if anyone from the Glasgow region is reading this, then contact the Hamilton branch of GameStation immediately. My girlfriend phoned round every possible videogame store she could think of, and she finally found a Wii in the aforementioned branch.

They would only hold it aside for an hour, which meant I had to get from Glasgow's South Side to Hamilton in an hour, which wasn't easy! Anyway, the guy who served me said that they got an additional TWENTY ONE consoles in their shipment today, which was a "pleasant surprise". This meant they had enough to fulfill their existing pre orders and offer Wii's on public sale.

I'm not long off playing Wii Sports, and I've had a quick go on Zelda which I bought in the £209.99 deal. The whole package is very smart, and very impressive ... the flap on the top which opens to reveal four GameCube controller slots is superb.

Anyway, sorry for ranting on, but again if anyone in that region wants a Wii, then call 01698 422939. I also hope those waiting on pre-orders being fulfilled get their Wii's sooner rather than later. It really was a piece of blind luck that I managed to get into the store and pick up a Wii on general sale.

GUYS!!!

I just called circuit city in MD.

I asked if they have any wii's in today and the guy said not yet.

And he said they're expecting a shipment of it today though but they haven't gotten it.

I'm gonna go right now. To circuit city and wait for it!!!! AHH!! Wish me luck!

This is one of the more disgusting things I have read someone brag - especially around the holiday season, a time of giving, love, and selflessness.

It really seems like certain areas are getting Wii shipments. Toys R Us up here in Boston got a shipment of Bundles only but no one else has them and from the sounds of it won't have them until after christmas. It just seems to be kinda random at the moment.

Anyone had any luck in Memphis recently?

I have waited in 3 different lines for more than 4 hours each. But, I am always too far back in line.

How about this for a heartbreaker....
I went Thurs. morning to the only TRU within 100 miles of memphis at about 8am. Asked them if they had any come in, the guys said they had nothing, but that I should check back at 8pm and again at 8am Fri. Sounded good to me.

I spend the next 2 hours checking various possibilities and decide to just come back to TRU at 8pm.

as 8pm rolls around, I come back to TRU and ask the guys (diferent guy) if he had any come in or if he knows of anything. (Now here it comes!!)
He says, " Oh they came in this morning around 8am and we just sold our last one about 2 hours ago!"

WHHHHHHAAAAAAATTTTTTTTTTT????????????

I said, I was here at 8am and the guys said you didn't have any!!!!

They must have come in minutes after I left. My heart is broken and my 10 year olds heart is beginning to break!

My wife went to TRU this morn. I just couldn't do it again!! I will let you know if she gets anything!

Why do Wii do this to ourselves?

Same thing happened to me, those people in stores are pricks because they are well aware of when their regular shipment times are, and if they told you 8pm then that person was being an ass. Sorry about that, I remember how much my nintendo 64 meant to me when I got it for christmas.

Anyway, went to TRU this morning...and they claimed to not have it...even though this girl next to me claimed her friend (TRU employee) knew they had shipment. They're holding it for some reason.

Couldn't find it anywhere else.

Argh...well, may look again later today.
