i spent about 4 hours searching today. no luck. I waited at gamestop who got in 3 and I was "lucky" number 4 in line. then I waited at TRU and they didnt get any more shipmentstoday. however, guy said big shipment tomorrow for them. So if you are a camper then tonight is the last chance prob. TRU will get them tomorrow.

I am giving up to search a wii before christmas. I believe there should be many returns after christmas. So, it would be very easy to get one after xmas.

got mine!! woo hoo! so i waited at TRU since 5pm thurs with only me and one other guy wanting one there until about 3am then only 3 there until about 6am then like 30 ppl showed at at 745 (they opened at 8) and they got one too. I was pretty pissed off that i waited so long and some got some last minute but i had a good time bc some of my friends came to keep me company not to mention i got to take pride in the fact that i was first in line. for all of those still searching follow up on wiiseeker bc if it werent for that site i would not have gotten one it is rather accurate even though it is done on rumors and tips. and those of you who show up at stores and they are only selling bundles: call them on it because TRU got sued last week by the Federal Business Bureau because Nintendo isnt packaging the bundles but the stores are and they cant make you buy all the extra crap just to get the console. Good luck!

Woohoo! I finally got my Wii earlier today. Well I don't really know if I should even use the word "finally" since I only started searching on Sunday. OK, so here goes. I went to the Nintendo World Store in The City with my buddy, and we reached just before 1 am. I took a head count and I was about #80 in line. A bunch of people came immediately after I did, and we all JUST missed the last batch of tickets for the night. BTW, nobody cares what you do. I walked around randomly, jogged up to 55th street to get the blood running and get warm, chilled at McDonald's, and frequented different bathrooms. You can leave the line as much as you want, as long as you get back by just after 6 am, because that is when they hand out the tickets for the morning. If you miss this batch of tickets and hand stamping, you've completely wasted your night of camping, as they WILL NOT let you in to the store. The store itself opened at 7 am and it took just under an hour for me to reach the store and get my Wii! I felt a little scared on the subway with my huge Wii bag, but alas I didn't get mugged or anything. They had a BUNCH of Wiis - I'm thinking maybe 200 or so at least. After all the people rushed in around 1-2am the line stayed about the same length until like 4-5 am when it went passed 6th ave. All in all, not a bad day at all - a little chilly, but you can go over to the local McDonald's or cafe whenever you feel cold. The guy just in front of me downed a good portion of a bottle of tequila and was walking around completely trashed - this provided much comic relief for me, although he almost got punched by one of the friends I made while in line when he tried to touch him, lol. They get shipments into the store EVERY DAY, so if you're in the neighborhood and want to camp by 2 am (only 6 hours total of waiting), you are virtually GUARANTEED a Wii. You could come every night and pick up another one each night, and do what you want with the others. My friend is selling his fourth Wii on Ebay - he's made over a grand so far. I see nothing wrong with this - if the market is there, there is no reason not to do it. Anyway, happy Wii-finding guys!

i would camp if the darn stores around me wound get them. but they are gay and get shipments randomly through the day

I am getting really fed up with stores around here (Tampa/Brandon area, FL). You call a store and they say they don't know when they will be receiving more. You call the next day and they say they sold them all this morning. How do you not know at 11 the night before that you will be selling them when you open in the morning. I'm about to just give up until after New Years and there are more around maybe. Anyone live in this area and know some secret that I'm missing out on??

IceMan5043 are you sure the Nintendo World Store gets a shipment of around 200 everyday? I tried calling their store but they have have an automated message.
