well its not worth camping if you don't know for sure. I went at 3:30 am and i only saw 2 people and they were being shooed off by the manager.

toys r us. The manager said they didn't have any, that they come during the day. That was the 22nd. They got 18 on the 21 like at noon.

On Thursday I called a bunch of stores including TRU at 2 PM because of all the reports of them getting the shipment a day early, and the woman said they hadn't got any. Then I decided to drive to the store at 10 PM Thursday just to double check (since I don't always trust them on the phone) and when I got to customer service the woman said they didn't get any, but the manager who was standing right there said they got 40 of them at 11 AM. So there's proof that not everyone knows what's going on.

When I got home, I called another TRU and they said they did not get their shipment in, so I figured I'd get there before 8 AM and just sit in the parking lot until I saw a truck (since all the other shipments came in the middle of the day). So I got there by 7:30 AM and asked a woman on a cigarette break. She said they got 8 in late Thursday night and they handed out tickets earlier that morning, so I was pissed (again).

In a moment of last resort, I called my local Wal*Mart. They said the truck had not got there yet and to come between 12 & 3 PM. So naturally, I got there at 10:30 AM since I didn't believe them. After sitting in the parking lot for 30 mins, I saw a UPS truck drive behind the WM, so I followed it and asked the guy if he had any Wiis on the truck. He unloaded it and said they were all electronics but nothing said "Wii" on it. So I went into the store and told the woman at electronics that they just got a UPS truckload and asked if she thought they had any Wiis. She called layover and they said they didn't know what was in the shipment, so I just kind of casually browsed the electronics department for about 40 mins, until I noticed a woman standing in the department, obviously waiting for one. So we started talking and then a couple and another guy asked the electronics woman about any Wiis, and she said they *might* have just got some and were waiting to see. So we all waited in a makeshift line and then the manager walks up to the electronics woman and drops a cardboard box behind the register. So we all got excited and the manager and woman were whispering to each other. The after about 5 mins the woman said "Alright, step in line kids!" and we were all jumping up and down. They had exactly 4 Wiis and there were 4 of us, so I was so relieved. I'm glad I didn't listen to the woman on the phone, because I got it exactly at 12.

So to all of you out there who are still waiting, don't give up. I know what it feels like and you will all get one in time.

I live in Windsor, Ontario and I've been calling every store in the city for nthe last 5 days, nobody has a wii Anyone know when a store near me will be getting a shipment?

Same, i wish i had a car :'( i called all places on weds, thurs, fri, and didnt bother on sat now i'm checking online and i'm gonna ring. on tues my local game for 10 in but i was at school 4fs! which is really anoying because it was the last day and i wanted to fake ill . now most stores said they might not get some till
after xmas but aslong as its between new and newyear i really dont mind. I just wanna play some wii before school comes :'(

i got my wii on december i am using the iternet browser rite now my friend help me get it he told me that toys r us gets 72 every other week on sundays i went on a sunday and got it best hope is to try on sundays

I don’t know about how the other countries are dealing with this issue, but I saw on my news (from Ottawa) a couple of days ago that the federal government (Harper) is seriously considering passing a bill that would make scalping products on the internet to be an illegal act for any Canadian attempting to do so, and charges for both the buyer and seller involved in the transaction.
This probably relates to the recent allowing of the government to monitor the activities of Canadians on the internet because of security issues.
I wouldn’t doubt if the fines for committing this act ranged around $2000.

They do get them in random drop shipments throughout the day. Will they get them today? I dont know. Every Toys R Us has different drop shipment times. Your best bet is to just wait there (if you're in desparate need) or just wait until after xmas. At this point, you might as well just wait.
