It sucks to have shit to do, or I would be at Best buy/wal-mart ect. every morning waiting for them. Damn it nintendo, you make a kickass product, so PLEASE send some more to Louisiana, particularly Lafayette. I would like to know when best buys are selling Wii's. I have read that they are only selling them on Sundays or Fridays. In the US is this true?

I failed at getting one yesterday (Sunday 11/26) Here is the story from all the places I went.
Bestbuy: had 20 in stock but 100 people in line ahead of me (yes on Sunday not Friday). Was told to keep checking before Christmas.
Toys R Us: None yesterday. The guy was very cool though and told me that they come in randomly. He got 12 of them on Friday at 4pm. It took them 2 hours to sell them since the rush had ended.
EB Games: Said they were getting some on Wednesday or Thursday according to UPS.
Target: No idea
Sears: No idea
Circuitcity: No idea.
I gave up after going to 6 places in one day. Luckily it only took me an hour to gather all this info. I live in Buffalo NY if anyone has any inside info for me.
 Gonna keep on trying.

went to Best Buy Sunday mornin... they had 60. i was 80 somethin in line. it sux, i left at 9:30 if only id of left at 7 when i woke up...

Well I waited at my local Best buy this past sunday. I got up at 6 am and was 23rd in line. I was told the day before they would have 30 units so I was pleased about my spot.
One hour before the store open they began to hand out tickets. At this point we were told they have 162 units for sale! I could have arrived a bit after 9(they open at 10) and still had one. Atleast I gauranteed myself a system.
This just goes to show that stores are ready to release there wii's soon they should be available on the shelves. If my best buy alone is putting out in excess of 100+ everyweek they should be on the shelves sooner or later.
Excellent system, you would think the controls would be awkward but I became comfortable very quickly.Can't wait until exams are over so I can really get into Zelda.

looking for Wii in Richmond, VA
My teen age son has a December birthday, and I would love to find a Wii somewhere in the Richmond, Virginia area so that he could get it for his birthday or Christmas.
I have waited in line outside of three stores only to find that they were sold out before I arrived.
Anyone know the scoop around here?

I need some information about getting a Wii in Sweden, Stockholm.
I don't speak Swedish and it doesn't say anywhere on the European Nintendo site... Is there a place online I can order one? or pre-order?
Also, will my Swedish Wii console be able to play Australian Wii games?
(I'm guessing the Swedisdh Wii is the same as the UK Wii?)

Best Buy rumors
I too waited on Sunday morning at Best Buy. They said that if it was listed in their newspaper flyer on Sunday, then they would have them in stock when the store opened on Sunday morning.
The trouble is, the people who got them waited in line all night on Saturday. How did they know that the Wiis would be available on Sunday morning?
