lol i swear the nintendo/microsoft/sony companys just do this for fun they always never have enought all companys it must be there evil plan 4 tha public to buy over priced consoles and they made wii chat to hear you beg lol.
anyway i hope there alot easyer to get after xmas like straight away and at a reasonable price.

I tend to think that 250 is a reasonable price personally. Although the companies who sell the Wii do not make any money from the scalpers in any way.

Yeah, the current MSRP for the Wii is very reasonable. PS3? Not so much. I don't see the price of those dropping any time soon.

Oh gosh, its been like so hard to get a Wii. Does anybody live in the Bay area (CA) like san fran and all that, and know some info on getting a wii? I have been calling CC for 3 days straight and they keep saying "tomorrow maybe" but then... nothing.. but then again maybe im just stupid for sitting at home refreshing the page looking for the "add to cart" button. Is the only way to get a wii in store? if so about what time will the UPS truck get in? If soembody knows some info on the CC's that are around the bay area, it would be great. Toys r us
to me is doubtful because according to you guys's experience, they were jerks

I wish i could camp and and stalk the trucks, and hang out in the store all day. I would.. but then again im just a teen looking for my christmas present. My parents are clueless anyway...

I'm in the bay too, and they are no where to be found til after christmas. You didn't hear it from me but ebgames and gamestops are getting them this week between wednesday - friday.

ahh fast reply, thanks very much for your help, but.. its a fact that all stores are selling right now are in the bundles right? thats like.. too much. My parents agreed on buying that CC bundle, with wii, zelda, nunchuk, and remote for ~400.(exactly what i need!)

EB games, ill do some checking up on... but gamestop is too much. 650$ bundles are a little

and im not even sure if the games can be returned. But hey, theres always next year.

Ebgames and Gamestop are the same company. The ebgames where I'm getting my Wii will have the wii alone (unbundled)

I don't know why (well I do know why) companies make consumers buy a "bundle." Nintendo tried to do a good thing and sell consumers a system for far less than the current systems and look what happened. Companies take advantage of it. Were there the "bundle" problems with the Xbox 360?

I was just in there (EB) seeing if (although I probably wouldn't be this lucky any day of the week) one of my local EB's had a Wii, and after grilling two workers XD I got that they'd be receiving 3-8 next week (which either was, sometime this next week comming, like x-mas week, or the week after). No idea about that, but this ebgames is getting 2 shipments in one. Since the last one didn't make it to them. UPS truck usually comes around 10 - 2 here.

I hear what you guys are saying. These bundle packs are ridiculous. I just want the system. Just the system. Some bundles have games you don't want. And it's at a very pricey price. It's ridiculous, just get the system out on the shelves. And let me purchase. I wish.

A local radio station broadcasted that a local Target would be getting 250 wii's soon...I called and that Target said no wiis would arrive till next year. (I think she was lying tho.)

My sister's friend (Target employee) claims that the next shipment may be the 28th (not necessarily be on sale that day). So hopefully I'll get one before the year ends.
