Wow first time I've been excited!

I also forgot to say, that most of the EB's and gamestops that I called in my county area all seemed programmed to say "about 2 weeks after new years" was when we would be seeing more official shipments of wii's. I guess this would go for southwestern connecticut, lower manhatten, and long island or something.

The 250 thing is for the one in..umm..Temfran? (can't spell lol. The one near the airport?) But I'm not too sure about the accuracy of this news.

But, the thing about the shipment on the 28th is the Colma Target. Keep in mind the friend only said "may be coming in" on that day. What's (kinda) annoying is that they supposedly had a lot of Wiis toward the end of last week...but apparently they only kept them in the back (and all the Target employees eventually bought them all). I'm hoping he'll keep one for me when the next shipment comes. (prays for it to arrive sooner)

oo Tanforan i know that mall... Thats good to hear. My friend has also been looking ALL OVER, searched like many many targets and radioshack.. CC... everything and it seems there wont be any on tuesday 26 or maybe even 27!
He asked many employees at the shop, but still no good news. Its pretty likely that the only way to get it is after new years. there may not even be shipments on new years either well it is a holiday...

EDIT eDIT: one question i am wondering.. all the zip codes i type in at wii seeker says that the shipping and arrivals dates are UnKNOWN

So basicly, just check there, and if it Mentions on the top box above the map, that they have it, then they have it? Instead of everysingle time i check at that site, i have to skim down that long long long list of stores at the left?

It could be because of that. Eventually, it will have which stores will have it and when. Even with that, I would call the stores listed there because some may not have it. Usually on that date, not only that store will have it, but i think majority of other stores receive shipment, so remember to do your calling!

So any of the Wii-less received Wii's for Christmas under their trees???

im so desprit for a wii im about to buy one for 500 bucks off ebay if only i could wait out a week to maybe get one for retail price

I was in that situation but there is no way I can justify paying more than retail. Take into account the shipping time you are going to wait aswell you may find one on the shelves and kick yourself. I refuse to support scalpers. Now winning an auction under retail I can support.

i got a wii today! YAY! i got madden, trauma center, zelda, rayman, and excite truck. I LOVE WII!

what do you guys think of the walmart wii gift card? do u think id be waiting for walmart to restock for like a month?

If you guys are in the Bay Area, I would check out Valley Fair. That's where I got mine. Gamestop and EB games in that mall gets like 50 per shipment. They get it almost every other day and usually comes in at like 1pm. That's where I got mine. Just stop by during lunch one day and saw a line at both EB and Gamestop.

anybody know if they will be getting wii's in florida tomorrow? wiiseeker says dec 31st, but ive also heard that the stores in the southeast are getting many wii shipments tomorrow morning...

also, you think i will have to camp out for them? i have work so i cant do that
