I just swung by a Gamestop that had a UPS truck in front of it. I was able to grab myself a Wii!!! They only delivered two; another woman and I grabbed them right away. The employees said they didn't know it was coming. But just as a heads up, they are being delivered today.

AOL instant message account also. It costs $$ however.

In a suburb west of Chicago called Downers Grove. Like I said, they said they only got two in (they had to take them out of the box), and both were picked up before the UPS driver drove away. He also had 4 PS3s.

too pricey, i even consider the toys r us bundle was pricey for me.

the equation rings true. UPS Truck + GameStop + 12/26 = Wii Success.
a word of warning however. before the shipment arrived one employee told me that he was "positive" that they would not receive Wiis today. another told me that they have no idea what is actually shipped until it arrives. i waited for about twenty minutes until the UPS guy arrived. the shipment went in back and i then asked the the clerk if there were any Wiis. he looked around the store and almost reluctantly said yes. he knocked on the door of the back room and asked for a Wii. The clerks in the back room asked "who is it for?". He then handed me the Wii and said that "I got the only Free Wii" this shipment. I assume that others were in the shipment, but the clerks were probably holding them while they called their friends. pretty dirty if you ask me........but understandable. go capitalism!. (Great Mall in the Bay area by the way).

WHEE! FRIDAY!!

I had such a happy dream twice in a row... I dreamed I randomly went to a Gamestop and they happened to have Wii in stock, so I bought it, then I went behind the counter and gave the employee a great big hug and told him thanks!

However the reality is I don't have one and can't find one. One of the Gamestops I call doesn't even answer the phone anymore. But I will give whoever sells the Wii to me a big hug

Why is it that so many stores don't know when and how many Wiis will arrive? Don't the stores control what stock they order? Any why do Wii advertisements come on TV when national avaliability is 2% according to iTraker? And why won't Nintendo give a press release about the lack of Wiis?

Again I ask, if anyone here is in the Orlando, Florida area, let me know how your search has been if you have or don't have a Wii.
