Gamecrazy stores are supposed to get Wii's within 2-3 weeks. Most stores are taking preorders for the second shipment, so make sure you preorder. 50 dollar minimum deposit is required.

Can anyone confirm when the wii is restocking in Canada? If it makes any difference, when are they restocking period?

I can confirm that yes, in some places on canada, there are going to be more wii units, I think on thursday

Most of the stores around here receive truck shipments on Tuesday. Bestbuy gets them in on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and I forgot the rest.

How likely do you think Bestbuy will get more Wiis on Tuesday or Thursday?

I wouldnt mind getting one soon, but I don't know if I'll even have a chance before christmas if I don't pre-order.

I was at a toys r us in Austin, TX, and I was told they'd receive another shipment within 1-2 weeks. No specific dates though.

As I've said if you go to your local Gamecrazy, many are still taking preorders for the second shipment, but if you want to be an angry customer and miss out again, just don't come whining here.

I camped and got one, but i went looking for another for x-mas gifts and i found out that TRU is said they should be getting them in weekly for a few weeks, he said to check back fri,sat,sun

So yesterday (11/20) I just got done eating lunch and I hop in my car. Across the way I see a UPS truck sitting in front of Gamestop. I'm thinking, "No way did they already get another shipment of Wii's!" So I headed over there and sure as shit, they had em! Man, I had perma-grin for the rest of the day...I couldn't believe I actually went back to work after that. Although I did leave early...

So keep your eyes open, I think these things are gonna keep flowing into stores...I bet most of you who are looking hard will get one before December.

Now if anyone has info as to where I can get an extra Remote and Nunchuk, I'm all ears!

Okay guys i know you are going to think this is a shamless plug, well it is haha but not so much because i got a wii last night at 3 in the morning from walmart.com :-p and so did someone else who reported getting it on my site. Well, I don't know what or who to believe anymore. Yesterday I was told that my local Gamestop will get 6 per store in Wednesday morning. Now when I called back, all the Gamestops say that they are gonna have some out on Friday. I don't work there, but they should know the truck schedule. I think either way I'm gonna check it out late tonight, see if there is any line, and if not then get there early Wednesday morning. Please I really want one, and with my work schedule I can't just camp out at a store for the next week or month waititng for one.

The thing with the gamestop is that yesterday a nation wide email was sent out from coroporate stating that if any stores had wiis in stock they were to hold them until "black friday". Reason being they ran an add with Wii's for Friday( the bussiest shopping day of the year.

On a side note I wish Nintendo of America had a better line of communication and would post updates of expected shipments on weekly/daily basis so people could know when to look. I feel ridiculous calling stores daily and asking the same question.
