I leave my game disks in my PS1, PS2, Saturn, DC, and Wii. I haven't had a problem with any of them. If there ever is a problem, I expect the Wii to be last on the list. Turn off Standby and leave Wiiconnect24 on if you are worried about heat.

So I would recommend you take your disc out after you stop playing it.

I really doubt that. How would it get scratched... especially if its off. The disc is suspended in the middle of the wii. nothing touches it except the motor that attaches to the hole and spins it.

They're just covering their @ss so they can't get sued or be responsible for the damage. Just like with the break every hour. Do you think you honestly need a 15 minute break every hour? No, they're just saying that so if something does happen, you can't sue them.

I leave mine in everynow and then too, though i think cause the wiis right by a window that its fine because it doesn't overheat... hopefully.
definately take te game out and check the disk drive, the systems probably overheating a bit or something.

I try to take it out everytime I play...but my wife (bless her heart ) leaves it in when she plays...
so i got into the habit of pressing the eject button when I get home and before I go to sleep just to make sure nothing is on overnight...
