How did you get/find Your Wii?

I went to Wal-Mart to buy some movies for the store that I work for. Just by chance I happened to check out what Wii games they had for sale...just browsing. I looked down and saw two boxes in the cabinet! One guy before me asked for one, and before anyone could ask for the other one, I jumped in and asked the lady for the last one. She had told me they had just gotten the shipment of 7 in that day, and I was buying the last one! What luck that was. lol

when i got mine target got 10 in, i bought 5 with 5 diffrent credit cards, sold each for 500 on craigslist. alot of people hate me for doing it but w/e gotta get money however i can.

got mine the day it released at walmart at 12 am. we called every walmart within like 45 minutes of us and one about 30 minutes away still had 7 spots to sit and wait till midnight.

so we got in our car and headed up there (doing about 90) and we made it. i was so happy to have a wii from day 1. still play it almost everyday and i just had to dissect it to get it to play smash brothers.

nah in fact when my mom said there were two wiis i keep thinking that i should've had her buy two of them instead. It would've saved me some money after blowing my first two paychecks on the wii.

I got my Wii from Gamestop, My buddy works for Fedex so he just called me when he was in the back of the store and held off on making the delivery until I got there...I knew when the Wii's got there even before the Gamestop staff...As soon as I walked in he made the delivery and I quickly asked for a Wii, they said they didn't have any, but I told them to go in the back and check...sure enough the salesman walked out with a Wii in his hand and a real puzzled look on his face on how I was so cocky about knowing a Wii was in the back when not even he was aware of it since the stockroom guy hadnt even had a chance to tell him...

On the launch date, I went to 6 different stores and waited 10 hours it. I was lucky to get it on the first day. The store wasnt going to open until 9:00, but people wanted their wii's so we just kept banging on the windows until the opened.

They also gave us these cards with numbers on them so we didnt have to wait in line.

I got my wii's 4 days ago.

I have been looking for one for the past month, once i found out my gf really wanted one. Well heres the story.

After having no luck the gf and I went to Wal-mart, and she told me to ask and i said "why, they wont have them in" she just said to ask anyway. So i went to the electronics department and asked. this lady was like yes we got x amount of them a few min. ago, I was like can i please have one.
Then i remembered that my roommate was looking for one as well. so i asked if i can buy more than one and the lady was Korean so of course i asked in Korean. So i ended up buying 6 of them.
1 for me
1 for the GF
1 for the roommate
and the rest i gave away to other family members/co-workers.

Well I got mine in October. I had been looking around for one, but to no avail. I just randomly walked into a EB Games store and they had some. It was pretty much my Christmas present. From then until this day, I can count the amount of Wii's I've seen on my hands. I never see one.

I got really sick of waiting after a month. everytime thse stores hadn't recieved a shipment or they never knew when they were going to recieve them.
Found a bundle at Frys :c but traded in the games for GH so bah.

my step daughter, wife and i went to buy a DS at EB games and out of curiosity asked if they had any Wii's? they had two left. now my 5 year old step daughter whoop's my but on wii play (bowling)!!!

I got my wii when my parents saw my next door neighbours wii that they one and decided to get me one to replace my super ancient PS2...
