Uses for remote

Hey anyone got any innovative ideas for what kind of things the remote can be used for?

I was told by a friend that to fire arrows in zelda you;
aimed with the romote -
pressed a button on the nunchuk -
pulled the nunchuk backwards away from the remote
- then released the button on the nunchuk to simulate firing an arrow.

I'm guessing this is bull? would be a cool use of the controllers though

I thought you just pressed the button to fire ?

But yeh, I agree, that's a cool idea. It wouldn't surprise me if that were true.

Thing is my friend didn't properly explain that you hold a button down to hold the arrow. Had us all laughing as he described it in the sense that you would actually "let go" of the controller.

It would be cool if they made it so the Wiimote was a universal tv remote. Maybe they could have a download from the store that will allow this.

Oh, and I was thinking it would be really cool to have a disc golf game, or ultimate frisbee or something of the sort.

Thats not possible because the Wiimote doesn't actually send out an infrared signal.
