Yes it is definetly worth it. Especially when you compare the price of it to the 360 and PS3.

Its not really next-gen considering the graphics, graphics make the system next-gen, right???

No, new technology can make a system next-gen. I don't recall any other console even coming close to what Nintendo did with the Wii. Shuta yo face, and go get a Wii already.

come on guys i dont really think that the Wii is next Gen too, more 'New gen' as it has a 'New' concept. gameplay might be good but graphics... well what can i say

Wii is next gen, the graphics are better then the last current gen systems and it has motion sensor gaming. How is that not next gen gaming?

Graphics Do Not make a system next gen. They just add to the next gen factor. Really Xbox 360 and PS3 are just graphics card upgrades, unless you say that the PS3 has that six-axis thing. But the Wii is the most next gen, because it brings a crapton of new stuff to the table

what new does the Wii bring, besides motion sencing

xbox 360 has live, which is awesome, and you ca connect it to a computer to stream video, music or pictures, you can dl full tv shows and rent HD movies, whatch dvd's and hd-dvd's (with attachment), play against other people in a lag-free environment, download XBL arcade games, brag about your achievements, plug in any hard drive for multimedia enjoyment

Heh, in NZ we have to pay the equivelant of $330 USD, in aus it's apparantly $300 USD.

Still, I reckon it's worth it.
