If the next nintendo has bluray then the'll be giving money to their competitor sony lol I think they should stick to their own data type or HD DVD only as data for the games not as a movie player which should be cheap with the end of the war. The wii should have its own hard drive for storing demos, videos, nintendo updates and virtual console games as well as game saves. The SD and internal memory will be gone. The new wii should also have a docking thing for recharging wiimotes and possibly you could connect up a mp3 player or ipod and can play that. The HD DVD drive (if implemented) would have backwards compatibility with DVD's so it can play wii games too. The new wii's hardware could use current nvidia technologies and current intel technologies so it will be afordable for the future and it would be quite good to use, good graphics, cater for casual and hardcore market and still be affordable. Nintendo should realese its own headseat for talking online and of course this will be wireless as well. It would be good to use bluetooth keyboards and as well as usb. I think there should be 2 remotes also but the right one will have A and B like now and the other one will have a anolog stick, no d pad and 1 2 buttons placed together next to each other where the A Button is but the analog stick will be below the buttons not above. This should be good and replace the nunchuck. Also to enable C you would press the stick down (it has its own button) and Z would be the trigger of course. I think the next wii should be called Nintendo 6 because it's the 6th nintendo console. Another neat feature would be good if you could connect with other wiis in the house on a local wireless network for multiplayer fun. So if you both have the same game you could play it as if it was on one wii which would mean up 8 players on wii system link.

lol
everything sounds great but one thing, the black and red color. theres something called light luck in every console wars. the myth and scary truth(with one exception) is that the white console allways does best. this isnt a racial thing, im being serious. the NES, SNES, Playstation, and currently the Wii and Xbox360, beat the other guys in the console wars. the only exception being the PS2 and thats just because the only white console during that time was the dreamcast, which was behind in graphics, memory, sound, release date, etc.
so if we want the succes of the wii to keep going, the wii2 will need to keep white as the main color scheme, with red or green secondary.

^The 2600 was a dark system, and it dominated the market for 7 or 8 years and lasted from 1976 to 1992 (though 1982 was the last year anyone wanted the thing)

Better online, better graphics, more power, fully backwards compatible (1 CD slot for new system games, Wii games, and GameCube games. 1 Cartridge slot for N64 games, SNES games, and NES games. One slot for Game Boy games. DS connectivity) A new Wiimote compatible with all of Nintendo's system's games. Drastically increased memory. White with red light.
Its name? The SUPER WII!!! hehe

^Not rlly. Imagine a Wii and instead of the GC ports at the top it'd have 2 cartridge slots. 1 for GB games and 1 for N64, SNES, and NES games
oh n i meant to say better graphics instead of better online twice

Nintendo will probably come up with something not similar at all to the Wii. It will probably be a lot more like the 360. Better graphics, and a regular controller. There will be some crazy twist that goes along with it, something crazy. Nintendo always surprises us. [[Like with touch screens and a motion sensitive system.]] It wont be called the "Wii 2" or anything, that's just not Nintendo. They like to get a fresh new start, and attract more players.
Although, they could have a Wii 2, just a Wii with better graphics and gameplay. Heck, I would buy one. I really don't care what they do, because I'm sure what ever they do, it will take us all by surprise and have some crazy feature that makes us all want to buy it.

I still wanna see a SUPER WII!
Nintendo has mentioned when asked about their future the possibility of a setup with no controller where there are cameras set up around the room that sense your motions. In other words, a fully interactive gaming system.

That's exactly what I mean. Nintendo will come up with something crazy. They need interactive play like that, but with like holograms or a virtual reality helmet or something. Pokemon would be funner that way. I don't think I would ever leave my room again.

I'm sure you will get something. Maybe the Wii Zaper? We use GCN Controller on the Wii, why can't we use the Wii remote on the *insert title that is awesome but they change it to something that's lame at the last second but you get used to it and finally just accept it anyways*. :]
