Depends what your idea of quality is though, is it what the Wii is now? Some would like to see things similar to what the Ps3/360 have going for them and would say those systems are quality.

And with the Gamecube, well it didn't do what they had hoped so Nintendo needed to make money. They are making loads of it with Wii, so maybe Nintendo has something big planned for us next gen, something thats more powerful and capable of doing more.

What do you mean by more powerful? The Wii is quite a powerful system. Is it capable of the graphics of a 360 or PS3? No. Is it capable of excellent graphics nonetheless? Yes.

excellent compared to what? gamecube? definitely not to 360 or ps3 or a very powerful computer. Not complaining about the wii's graphics as gameplay is the important thing. If you think about metroid 3 the wii is being pushed ot its limits because it takes forever for the doors to open. it takes a long time for the wii to process whats going on

I read somewhere that the Wii is capable of better graphics than the original Xbox. Having said that, there are still games that look great on the Xbox. Ninja Gaiden, Conker Live and Reloaded, just to name a couple. So what if the Wii cannot perform graphically alongside the PS3 or 360? It's visuals are well done enough to suit me for this generation. I guess it comes down to personal preference. Some want the visual power of the 360 or PS3, some want the old fashioned family fun of the Wii.


Or there are those like me that have both.

I don't really care about graphics. A lot of Gamecube games had really good graphics, in my opinion. Games like Mario Galaxy showcase that the Wii can do some amazing stuff, too.

Imagine how many people buy vc if nintendo gives that away not to one but billions of people they WOULD be losing alot of money

The pause at doors was just when it's loading the next section of the level off of the disc. It's not the CPU sitting there trying to figure out what's going on.
