Don't like buying Wii Points

I don't like the idea of Wii points. Nintendo has enough money do from the sales. Wii Points for VC and such instead of be bought, should be earned.

Here is some examples for Metroid Prime:

MP3 Completed on Hypermode: 500 points
All Creatures scanned: 75 points
Complete on Normal: 100 points
Finish 100%: 200 points

Yeah i think if you beat a vc game they should reward you. They have enough money, they been around since '85, they should allow u to redeem wii points.

Nintendo has been around since 1889, nearly 120 years. And they've stayed in business that long by not giving away their products for free.

This could be an extra option, but not having the buying option in general is dumb idea, i don't wanna beat or do so much crap if wanna buy 2 n64 virtual games, i rather just pay $20.. What i wish they had was an option to buy 500 points and so on, like i have 500 points on the moment and need another 500 points to buy starfox but i dont wanna buy 1000 points, if i dont need it..

If they let your EARN it, then they wouldn't make moneys.

You haven't been following Nintendo very long, have you?

They say Microsoft is the king of nickel-and-diming you.

But Nintendo is. They just do it in a way that half the world enjoys it.

They other half is onto their scheme of products printing money!

First things first guys. Unless it's a Nintendo title that they own 100% meaning made in their studio and published by them, then it does cost money.

Just like old t.v. shows if its on the air, selling whatever the case, they have to pay royalties licensing fees for it.
So every SEGA,TG16,NEO GEO game would be costing Nintendo money every time.

Same goes for any Nintendo game that was developed or published by anyone other than Nintendo them self.

It would be a cool idea for Nintendo to dish out some of the 1st party classics for free just to get people interested in the VC setup. Although VC is selling great so far so why change it.
If anything an adjustment to prices would be more reasonable. A lot of times you can pick up a physical version of the game cheaper than the virtual downloaded form. Although it takes less blowing to make it work!

WiiChat.com Media

Eaither way pretty far out there request. Nothing in this world is free , and if it is it usually isn't good.

Not to mention the costs of testing to be sure they work ok, the costs for the servers hosting the files, and the bandwidth costs for all the downloads.

However, what I really think they should look into is temporarily discounting some games from time to time for special occasions or things like that.

Nintendo has made over 6 billion dollars, and from the wii points about 600,000 dollars. I think the should use that for wii sports and be able to buy wii points too. I mean, the games are downloadable, the have unlimited. Its not like in game stop where they use disks and are able to run out. Its downloadable aka unlimited. 100% support

They wouldn't lose money...the VC is merely redistribution of software.

To my knowledge.
