mario's way better than samus
mario basically started the gaming industry and 64 and galaxy are two of the best games ever made
Metroid Prime is not the best nintendo character because nobody really knew who samus was before smash bros
Mario's got about 8 games in total for the wii alone but samus only has 2
i know I'm unreasonable but mario is more well known than samus

well personal opinion i think 8-bit link this is throw back before he got all hollywood on us but the greatest charater of nintendo's career is mario just because of his popularity. he is the offical mascot of nintendo, with his first apperance in arcade version of donkey kong to his lead role in mario kart wii hes always kept it real

i disagree with ur samus comment there are around 10 metroid title games going back to 1986. yes mario is more popular then samus and makes it easier to market him in so many games but samus has been around well before the SSB series
