well. supposedly they were supposed to release a wii that could play DVDs around spring of 08 but ermmm...i dont see any new Wii systems! i hope they make a DVD channel for the original wii owners.

And therein lies my original question. Why? Why are you trying to prevent duplicate threads? Those that have seen this question many times know to ignore it just from the title. Then there are others that will see the title of the thread, and purposely read it just to reply "duplicate, use search next time..." So why are you trying to prevent a duplicate thread? Server space? Confusion? Bandwith allocation? A personal vendetta to look cool?

Because it serves no purpose other than clog up the forums with the same questions being asked (and answered) over and over. Meanwhile the OP can better serve themselves by reading the appropriate thread that already answers their question.

This is why FAQs and the such were invented. If you can't grasp the value of not duplicating threads over and over, then you haven't been on online forums very long.
