Hi guys. I got a wii a couple weeks ago and ive just bought bully. When ever i go to play the 2 player mode it tells me to press "A" on the second remote but nothing happens. (This has also happened on other games) Ive tried holding 1 and 2 and using the power button but nothing happens apart from the blue lights flash. The batteries are fine and i have no idea what im doing wrong.

Can anyone help please!?....

Oh, and also. Should i be able to turn the Wii on with both remotes? Because only one remote turns it on and off. Is this usual?

you need to sync your second remote by clicking on the red button,(which is by the battery)
and the red button on wii(its above the sd card slot.
that should fix problems

Yeah, brill thanks for that. I was being stupid though because i didnt realise i had to sync either remote. Doh!

lol, i think nintendo should put a huge flyer right on top of all the packaging of the Wii that says...."To Sync Controlers do this" That was the first thing i did when i brought my Wii home, I called game stop and found out how to use my controllers, lol.....I think everyone has this problem !!!!!

^^^ Nope, Its pretty much common sense these days with anything that uses wireless.

I had this problem but I just looked in the manual and there was the solution : )
I'll have to keep in mind that wireless products will do this.

What confuses the issue on Wiis is the fact that there's a temporary Wiimote sync in the Wii menus. This sync gets lost when you power down and often gets reset once you start a game....so it looks like the new remote that you got working in the menus gets lost when you start a game. The red button sync should be done with all the Wiimotes you own and just use the one in the menu for changing position.
