Getting a new(used) Wii
I am looking at getting a Wii. My kids have played my brothers and they love it. So I am getting rid of my PS3 and getting a Wii.
There is one for sale locally. Here is the AD:
A few months old. Like New Condition.
Comes with Guitar Hero 3 w/guitar
Dance Dance Revolution w/Dace Pad
Big Brain Academy
Wii Play, Wii Sports
Smack Down vs. Raw 2008
Zelda w/ cross bow.
18 Wheeler, ATV Quad Power Racing 2, Medal of Honor European Assault, World Series Poker, Die Hard, Battalion Wars, Mario Cart Double Dash and Medal of Honor Rising Sun (game cube games).
1500 wii points left on the wii shop channel also.
2 wireless wii controllers w/ sleeves, 2 nunchuks, 1 wii controller, 1 game cube controller, a rechargable stand for the controllers w/ rechargable batteries, game console stand and there is also a memory card. We have all the original packaging it came in and instruction manuals.
$550.00 O.B.O for everything.
I called and they will take no less than $500.00.
Is this a good deal on a used one with all that it comes with? You can't find a new one around here unless you go to ebay.
I appreciate any help on this.

You are in America, Right?
Well, I would say that is a really good deal!!!!
For that many things to come with it, it seems pretty good to me, get it.
As long as everything is working, that is quite a good find.
I think you should get it before someone else does. I would buy that, if I had the monies and i needed one.

Yes, Im in the US.
It was a hard decision to let the PS3 go. I loved the graphics, and online gaming. But the kids dont really enjoy it. I won the PS3 at a local Best Buy.
But if we want the Wii, I have to sell the PS3 to get it. Which is no problem.
As long as its a really good deal, I don't have a problem with it. Plus with there being a couple of Wiis in the family, we can share games.
thanks

So wait, you're selling your PS3 for another wii in your house? I would keep the PS3, as there will be great games coming out this year (MGS4 being one of them).
But that is a great deal though...tough decision...

I'm not selling my PS3 for another Wii in the house. It will be the only gaming system in the house.
The other Wii in the family is my brothers, across town. And I think my father just bought one for the grandkids, when they come over. Also across town.
Eventhough the PS3 does have the advantage on graphics and online play, I don't play it that often. And MGS doesn't really interest me, although COD4 was fun. I like the sports games.
That being said, the Wii has some pretty great sports games like Tiger Woods 08, Madden 08, etc...
Thanks for the help.

I just picked it up. It came with everything listed above plus a couple of Mario Cart steering wheels.
It is in very nice condition. I did get a little pissed when I found the receipt folded up in the bottom of the box. It says the purchase date was February of 2007. So it is not a few months old.
I hooked it up and it plays just like my brothers new one.
